Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros feos del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, las películas con temática distópica son interesantes siempre y cuando se realizan de la forma correcta debido a que es muy fácil caer en cosas genéricas, es por ello que cuando comencé a ver el filme “Uglies” tuve mis recelos al respecto y nada de expectativas. Sin más que agregar prepárense para preocuparse por su apariencia pues estamos por comenzar.

Uglies fue estrenada este año, dirigida por McG y producida por Davis Entertainment y Anonymous Content, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 42 minutos. Es un filme de ciencia ficción distópica, la historia se enfoca en un futuro distópico en el que hubo gran cantidad de caos producto del agotamiento de los recursos naturales por lo que los científicos se esforzaron por crear una nueva fuente de energía, y, paralelamente, idearon una operación para hacer perfectos a todos y que así no se repitiesen los conflictos del pasado, esto hace que todos los adolescentes anhelen su operación para así unirse al resto de sus amigos sin imperfecciones, no obstante, nada es lo que parece y algo tan hermoso tendrá un perturbador trasfondo.

He shows few things about his future, telling him that things from the “past” have more exploration. The way in which their society is constituted is another complete disaster, it is based on appearance as a focal point of fear and on the division of this according to whether people have undergone the operation or not, the problem with this It is that it is worked with the feet and from the beginning it is tacit that it is suspicious and that it is not as good as they paint it, this only makes their society weak and has a very poor construction.
La construcción del mundo es patética, para los filmes con temáticas distópicas y de ciencia ficción lo más importante es el hecho de tener una escenografía que tenga esa esencia del futuro y que la misma se aproveche de alguna forma, desgraciadamente nunca se aprovecha nada de las pocas cosas que muestra como de su futuro, con decirle que más exploración tienen las cosas del “pasado”. La forma en que se encuentra constituida su sociedad es otro completo desastre, la misma se fundamenta en la apariencia como un punto focal de miedo y en la división de esta según sí las personas se han sometido o no a la operación, el problema con esto es que es trabajada con los pies y desde el vamos es tácito que la misma es sospechosa y que no es tan buena como la pintan, esto solo hace que su sociedad sea endeble y tenga una construcción paupérrima.
The plot is completely bland and boring, throughout the film it feels highly generic and without any kind of emotion, this lack of any kind of interesting thing makes it very tedious to watch. Narratively it is a joke, from the start it lacks originality and works in a very poor way with the few elements it incorporates. It has the average length of a current movie but its complete lack of content makes watching it without falling asleep one of the most titanic tasks imaginable.
La trama es completamente sosa y aburrida, durante todo el filme la misma se siente altamente genérica y sin ninguna clase de emoción, esta falta de alguna clase de cosa interesante hace que se haga muy tediosa de ver. Narrativamente es un chiste, desde el vamos peca de estar carente de originalidad y de trabajar de muy mala forma los pocos elementos que incorpora, lo anterior llega a tal punto de lamentabilidad que incluso es fácil predecir los giros que tendrá debido a que contiene todas las cosas genéricas que se puedan imaginar. Tiene la duración promedio de una cinta actual pero su completa carencia de contenido hace que el verla sin quedarse dormido sea una de las tareas más titánicas que se puedan imaginar.

Ningún personaje tiene siquiera un ápice de algún rasgo interesante, eso incluye a la protagonista que es la que tiene más tiempo en pantalla y pese a ello no logra mostrar nada que le dé un mínimo de personalidad, sin excepción absolutamente todos son unos monigotes sin personalidad completamente aburridos. Destacare aparte al grupo de los “buenos” y de los “malos” debido que son de las cosas más desastrosas que tiene este bodrio de cinta, al simplemente estar en un bando solo porque sí sin tener la más mínima justificación o por lo menos una razón simple y burda, en absoluto se muestra nada que les caracterice de alguna forma haciéndolo los seres más sosas que haya visto en mucho tiempo.
Uglies is the worst garbage I have seen all year and one of the biggest I have ever seen, from the start you can see that it lacks any kind of interest in developing any of its sections and you can only see the desire to have a sequel being that it desperately leaves many things for a second part that I hope never sees the light of day since it would be another piece of garbage for the pile. It is for all of the above that it deserves only a dishonorable half star out of 7, it has everything a film needs to be a mess, garbage and a complete disgrace, which makes it completely irrelevant and unsmokable garbage.
Uglies es la peor basura que haya visto en todo el año y una de las mayores que haya visto nunca, desde el vamos se nota que carece de cualquier clase de interés por desarrollar cualquiera de sus apartados y solo se le nota el deseo por tener una secuela siendo que desesperadamente deja muchas cosas para una segunda parte que espero que jamás vea la luz puesto que sería otra basura más para el montón. Es por todo lo anterior que merece solamente una deshonrosa media estrella de 7, tiene todo lo que un filme necesita para ser un bodrio, una basura y una completa desgracia, lo que lo convierte en una basura completamente irrelevante e infumable.
