Esta serie se hizo relativamente conocida gracias al juego del calamar, mucha gente quiso seguir viendo films coreanos después de la clara calidad de las series coreanas, no se puede negar que en este momento hay una tendencia o una ola coreana de cultura, si bien este filme no es de los mejores que he visto en su genero, sí es muy bueno. A girl's father is part of the Mafia and disappears, thanks to this she receives abuse and bullying since she was young, she is harassed by the police and lives all alone while trying to deal with everything on her own, on her birthday, tired of this situation she decides to get her father's call to tell him to forget about her for having abandoned her; he in his sentimentality decides to go to see her and ends up being massacred in front of the door of his house, in front of his daughter's eyes. After this event she begins to seek revenge and will not stop until she finds her father's murderer.
El padre de una chica hace parte de la Mafia y desaparece, gracias a esto ella recibe abusos y bullying desde joven, es acosada por la policía y vive completamente sola mientras intenta lidiar con todo por su cuenta, el día de su cumpleaños, cansada de esta situación decide contestar la llamada su padre para decirle que se olvide de ella por haberla abandonado; él en su sentimentalismo decide ir a verla y termina siendo masacrado frente a la puerta de su casa, a los ojos de su hija. Después de este suceso ella empieza a buscar venganza y no parará hasta encontrar al asesino de su padre.

Los giros que da la trama nos llevan a Re-cuestionarnos por segunda vez en la historia quienes son los buenos y quienes son los malos, hasta donde se puede llegar solo por sed de venganza y si, realmente el fin justifica los medios. Si lo que quieres es suspenso y relaciones moralmente incorrectas que dan giros inesperados, esta serie volará totalmente tu cabeza.
At one point I thought it would be the typical Dorama where the girl becomes super strong, gets rid of her feelings and starts murdering left and right, you know, the typical, but it was definitely much more than that. The way they show us the character in her weakness, her inability and her uselessness at the beginning leads us to feel anguish and helplessness for everything that happens to her, the actress also portrays in a very real way what it would be like to be in that situation, the feelings she generates are portrayed in a way that any viewer could take, even they are very natural, valid, even real I would say.
En un momento pensé que sería el típico Dorama donde la chica se vuelve super fuerte, se despoja de sus sentimientos y empieza a asesinar a diestra y siniestra, ya saben, lo típico, pero definitivamente fue mucho más de eso. La forma en que nos muestran al personaje en su debilidad, su incapacidad y su inutilidad al inicio nos lleva a sentir angustia e impotencia por todo lo que le pasa, la actriz también retrata de una forma muy real lo que sería estar en esa situación, los sentimientos que genera se retratan de la forma en que cualquier espectador podría tomar, incluso resultan muy naturales, validos, hasta reales diría yo.
The work of the actress was simply impeccable in my opinion; which by the way I didn't expect since the actress doesn't usually play this kind of roles, at the beginning I felt the performance a bit bland, it didn't transmit much, but the turn she gives later on together with what we are shown of her and the development of the character makes her personality (even in the past) make more sense, the way she works on herself from being a good-for-nothing who had nothing more to protect than the miserable life she led to being guided by something as noble as her father's memories and from there putting herself in terrible situations to take the revenge she wanted so badly, even at the cost of herself; in a way it is beautiful and tragic.
El trabajo de la actriz fue simplemente impecable a mi parecer; cosa que por cierto no esperaba pues la actriz no suele interpretar esta clase de papeles, al principio sentí la actuación un poco sosa, no me transmitía mucho, pero el giro que da después en conjunto a lo que se nos muestra de ella y el desarrollo del personaje hace que su personalidad (incluso en el pasado) tenga más sentido, la forma en que trabaja en sí misma desde ser una inútil que no tenía nada más que proteger que la vida miserable que llevaba a ser guiada por algo tan noble como las memorias de su padre y de ahí ponerse a sí misma en situaciones terribles para tomar la venganza que tanto deseaba, incluso a costa de sí misma; de cierta forma es hermoso y trágico.
The work of Park He Soon (Choi Mu-jin) is impressive, the antipathy and contempt he takes gives the impression of being a real gangster with a lot to protect and a manipulative identity, later the events will show us facets that we did not expect from this character, in a way he is paternal and strong, like a father to the protagonist, but he is also hard as if he were her enemy. At the beginning, his fraternal attitude is null, but as he teaches the protagonist who to be and makes her his right hand, he generates a bond even beyond his own convictions. I don't usually talk beyond the main character but I definitely had to give my opinion of this one.
El trabajo de Park He soon (Choi Mu-jin) es impresionante, la antipatía que toma y desprecio da la impresión de ser un verdadero gánster con mucho que proteger y una identidad manipuladora, más adelantes los hechos nos mostrarán facetas que no esperábamos de este personaje, de cierta forma es paternal y fuerte, como un padre para la protagonista, pero también es duro como si fuera su enemigo. En un inicio la actitud fraternal de este mismo es nula, pero al ir enseñando a la protagonista quién ser y haciéndola su mano derecha va generando un vinculo mas allá incluso de sus propias convicciones. No suelo hablar más allá del personaje principal pero definitivamente debía dar mi opinión de este.
However, all the credit cannot go to the actress, the scriptwriter did a spectacular job, the dialogues feel fluid, as if you were really there, as if they were two real people communicating and full of feeling. The dialogues and the connection with the story help a lot to the immersion that the series gives us considering that this is a somewhat violent series, you feel more appropriation than repulsion at the time of the events.
Sin embargo todo el crédito no se lo puede llevar la actriz, el guionista hizo un trabajo espectacular, los diálogos se sienten fluidos, como si tú realmente estuvieras ahí, como si fueran dos personas reales comunicándose y llenas de sentimiento. Los diálogos y la conexión con la historia ayudan muchísimo a la inmersión que nos da la serie considerando que esta es una serie un tanto violenta, se siente mas apropiación que repulsión a la hora de los hechos.
The production in the visual field also surprised me quite a lot, for a Korean series it is quite explicit in the violent parts, they look real and it doesn't look over produced, maybe they even become too crude for certain kind of viewers, anyway in professional terms it's a great job in this area.
La producción en el campo visual también me sorprendió bastante, para ser una serie coreana es bastante explicita en las partes violentas, lucen de forma real y no se ve sobre producido, quizá incluso llegan a ser demasiado crudas para cierta clase de espectadores, de cualquier forma en términos profesionales es un genial trabajo en este área.
