Your Name: Una película que se entrelazó con mi destino [ESP-ENG]

En estos días escribí un poema, tenía mucho sin que me llegara la inspiración para escribir uno y cuando lo hago, la mayoría de las veces, me gusta escribirlos en primera persona como si fuera un hombre quien lo escribe. El poema llevaba por nombre El Encuentro, en el inicio de mismo, hablo de dos personas que han cruzado su camino muchas veces sin haberse notado, esto lo hice inspirada en mi propia historia con mi esposo, ya que coincidimos en muchos lugares e incluso eramos de países distintos, pero se unió nuestro destino y el final de mi poema fue inspirado en lo que le dice Adam de la Película Proyecto Adam a su esposa al final, cuando ella le dice que estaba perdida y el responde que ya no más, porque él la encontró.

¿Qué tiene que ver eso con la película? 🤣

¡Estoy impactada! Un usuario llamado @soyernesto, comentó mi poema y me dijo que le recordaba a una película, le pregunté cuál y al sugerirla no dudé en verla. Realmente quedé impactada, ya que mi poema pareciera ir muy bien con la película Your Name, película que al inicio no entendí mucho, pero luego tiene sentido, dos almas que tienen conectado su destino y no sé si ustedes crean en eso del alma gemela, pero realmente yo si lo creo, asi como también creo que hay almas que estan destinadas a vivir solas.

These days, I wrote a poem. It had been a long time since inspiration hit me to write one, and when it does, most of the time, I like to write them in the first person as if it were a man writing it. The poem was titled The Encounter. At the beginning of it, I talk about two people whose paths have crossed many times without noticing each other. I was inspired by my own story with my husband, as we had many coincidences in different places, and we were even from different countries, but our destinies united. The end of my poem was inspired by what Adam says to his wife at the end of the movie The Adam Project, when she tells him she was lost, and he responds, "Not anymore because I found you."

What does that have to do with the movie? 🤣

I’m shocked! A user named @soyernesto commented on my poem and told me it reminded him of a movie. I asked which one, and when he suggested it, I didn’t hesitate to watch it. I was really amazed because my poem seemed to fit very well with the movie Your Name. At first, I didn't understand much of the movie, but then it made sense: two souls with connected destinies. I don't know if you believe in the concept of a soulmate, but I truly do, just as I also believe that some souls are destined to live alone.

¿Algunas vez has deseado ser otra persona? ¿Haz deseado tener una vida diferente? Pues cuidado con lo que deseas, ya que un día puedes amanecer siendo justo otra persona.

Recuerdo que desde niña he tenido sueños que parecen reales, tanto así que puedo recordarlos claramente, pero a diferencia de mí, nuestros protagonistas no están soñando y los recuerdos de los momentos vividos se irán borrando: Mitsuha una joven que vive en un pueblo y puede representar las tradiciones guiada por su abuela, luego de haber quedado huérfana de madre y tener un padre ausente. Y Taki un joven que vive en Tokio con su papá y sueña con ser Arquitecto un día, mientras tanto estudia y trabaja, pues la vida en la ciudad es mas costosa. El destino de ambos está entrelazados, aún cuando viven en tiempos y lugares distintos.

I remember that since I was a child, I've had dreams that seem real, so much so that I can clearly remember them. But unlike me, our protagonists aren't dreaming, and the memories of the moments they lived will begin to fade: Mitsuha, a young girl who lives in a village and represents traditions guided by her grandmother after losing her mother and having an absent father. And Taki, a young man who lives in Tokyo with his father and dreams of becoming an architect one day. In the meantime, he studies and works because life in the city is more expensive. Their destinies are intertwined, even though they live in different times and places.

Your Name es ese tipo de película que te hace recordar (si es que lo viviste), aquellas épocas en las que te levantaba llorando, extrañabas a alguien que no conocías y sentías la necesidad de estar juntos a esa persona, aún cuando ni siquiera sabías su nombre, esa es la magia del hilo rojo, las almas que estan entrelazadas y que el destino unirá en algún momento o ellas mismas deberán buscar esa unión.

Amé esta película, el desenlace fue bastante épico e inimaginado. Me hizo recordar la vez que mi papá me contó una historia sobre un hombre que estaba casado por años y tenía hijos, pero un viaje se topó por instantes con una mujer que paralizó su vida, al verla sintió que estaba enlazado a ella y que ella era parte de sus destino, pero que por motivos ajenos ya no podía tenerla a su lado, porque ahora estaba otra persona.

Your Name is the kind of movie that makes you remember (if you've experienced it) those times when you woke up crying, missing someone you didn't know, and felt the need to be with that person, even though you didn't even know their name. That’s the magic of the red string—the souls that are intertwined and that destiny will unite at some point, or they themselves will have to seek that union.

I loved this movie; the ending was quite epic and unimaginable. It reminded me of the time my dad told me a story about a man who had been married for years and had children, but on a trip, he briefly encountered a woman who paralyzed his life. Upon seeing her, he felt he was tied to her and that she was part of his destiny, but due to external circumstances, he could no longer have her by his side because someone else was there now.

Taki, luchará por encontrarse con Mitsuha, aún cuando olvide su nombre, él sabe que necesita de ese alguien, que ella es parte de su destino, por aún cuando tuvo la oportunidad de escribirle su nombre para que no lo olvidara, el prefiere escribirle "Te Amo", porque un nombre es solo un nombre, pero un te amo, te hará sentir amado y buscar a la persona que dijo hacerlo, así que luego de tanto ambos buscarán unir sus destinos, la pregunta es si realmente podrán lograrlo y encontrarse por primera vez frente a frente.

Y para finalizar, definitivamente amé el hecho de que mi poema y está película entrelazaran sus destinos, para que así yo pudiera verla, puesto que antes de eso, no tenía idea de su existencia aún cuando es del 2017.
