I didn't know much about the plot, but I did know Doctor Strange was involved and that this film was somehow related to the multiverse we have been exploring in previous productions.
I wasn't sure what kind of villain we would be seeing, but I had an idea about the type of challenge Spider-Man would be facing on this occasion. Before watching the film and since the film is called No Way Home, I honestly believed Spider-Man had somehow got stuck in a weird place of reality with Doctor Stange intervening in order to help him. However, nothing could be further from the truth and the story ended up being much much different.
What was the movie about?
Spider-Man suddenly finds himself in a situation where he needs to contact Doctor Strange to help him with something. As we all know, Spider-Man is a cool guy, and he doesn't want other people to suffer some complications simply for being close to him. So his goal when visiting Strange is just to help a couple of people that are close to him.
In the Avengers films, Spider-Man is portrayed as a very childish, immature, and sometimes even silly character. And this hasn't changed even though he is surely getting older.
This character is super talented, and as we will learn in this film, has a good knowledge of maths and even a bit about science, but he can still act all silly and this can hinder more important things.
The movie takes its time to develop the key moments, and this can make it feel like it is lasting too much. I do believe it could have lasted a bit less, and for the amount of entertainment it provided 2.5 hours is an excessive length in my opinion. Plus, the solution for all of this chaos wasn't really hard to develop which kind of trivializes the magnitude of it.

La película se toma su tiempo para desarrollar los momentos clave, y esto puede hacer que parezca que dura demasiado. Creo que podría haber durado un poco menos, y por la cantidad de entretenimiento que proporcionó, 2,5 horas es una duración excesiva en mi opinión. The fighting scenes were okayish, but nothing completely original. If you enjoyed the third movie of Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, then it is something like that but even crazier thanks to the multiverse. I mean, if you check the trailer out you will know what to expect.
Something that surely interests me is the psychological consequences for Spider-Man after all the things that happened in this movie. The continuation of his character development makes me feel a bit of intrigue.
All in all, it was a fine action movie and I guess it had to be done once the multiverse concept was introduced, however, I do expect future films to include innovative villains, powers, and fighting scenes instead of simply mixing the old with the new.

The director of the movie was Jon Watts, the same director from the 2 previous Spider-Man films, Homecoming and Far From Home. He will also be directing the new Fantastic Four film.
Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers were the 2 writers for the film and they usually work together. They have worked in the 2 previous Spider-Man movies, as well as in Jumanji as well as in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Tom Holland played Spider-Man, the most immature of all Marvel superheroes and surely the silliest one at times. Spider-Man is his most popular role so far, but he has also participated in many other productions such as Uncharted, Chaos Walking, and The Devil All the Time.

How were the performance from the cast and the writing work?
The performance was fine, I especially enjoyed the performance from William Defoe, as well as the chemistry with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Every cast member played their role nicely.
However, I didn't like the writing work regarding the reason to cause all of this chaos. The chaos is triggered first by a very silly behavior during an extremely important moment, and then, by a silly decision that lacks any logical reasoning. Without silliness, all the chaos in this film could have been avoided and that reduced my enjoyment. This chaos wasn't the result of a master evil plan from some villain, but just the result of a very silly and key character.
Final thoughts
Spider-Man No Way Home is for the most part a very enjoyable movie, it has a lot of cool action scenes, and I am completely sure most Spider-Man fans will love it. However, there wasn't any originality in the form of a new powerful villain, and I really enjoyed the previous Spider-Man movie more than this one. The fight against Mysterio was much more exciting for me than any fighting scene in this film.
I do think the multiverse can produce the best superhero films ever, but this one isn't it. Maybe the next Doctor Strange movie will be awesome, time will tell. This Spider-Man film felt more like a simple fan service.
If you are looking for some action scenes that don't bring any originality but can be fun, then you should definitely check this film out. However, I recommend not being super hyped about it because you might be disappointed after watching it.

Sin embargo, no había ninguna originalidad en la forma de un nuevo y poderoso villano, y realmente disfruté más de la película anterior de Spider-Man que de esta. La pelea contra Mysterio fue mucho más emocionante para mí que cualquier escena de pelea en esta película.
