If you find such a person and come to a meeting with him, then try to feel this person. Listen to yourself for empathy, trust, contact. I don't know the correct word in English, but you should feel like you are on the same page.
If there is any mistrust, maybe anxiety or tension will appear ... then it is better to politely leave. Not every healer is for you. Someone may even turn out to be a crook with a beautiful advertising story. Turn on your intuition, it will not deceive you.
