Quiero contrales que este post fue inspirado en una experiencia personal que viví con niños hace tan sólo unos días, en esta situación aprendí que aun cuando todo parece gris, cuando pareciera que el fracaso está por llegar, siempre está la posibilidad de superarlo, lo importante es mantener la luz de la esperanza encendida y así lograr alcanzar el éxito, puesto que los sueños de un niño son una llamarada de ilusiones que destella con gran fuerza permitiendo descubrir nuevos caminos.
I want to tell you that this post was inspired by a personal experience I lived with children just a few days ago, in this situation I learned that even when everything seems gray, when it seems that failure is coming, there is always the possibility of overcoming it, the important thing is to keep the light of hope on and thus achieve success, since the dreams of a child are a flare of illusions that flashes with great force allowing to discover new paths.
Entender mis letras requiere necesariamente narrar un poco mi vivencia, les cuento que hace varios días tengo planificado viajar con una delegación de niños que representarán al estado en el área artística teatral, todo iba según lo programado, ensayos, organización logística, reuniones, entre otras actividades. Las ilusiones se desbordaban, viajar por primera vez para algunos, primera vez lejos de sus padres, la oportunidad de convivir con sus compañeros, de conocer nuevas personas, el orgullo de representar al estado.
To understand my letters necessarily requires to narrate a little of my experience, I tell you that several days ago I had planned to travel with a delegation of children who will represent the state in the theatrical artistic area, everything was going according to schedule, rehearsals, logistical organization, meetings, among other activities. The illusions were overflowing, traveling for the first time for some, first time away from their parents, the opportunity to live with their classmates, to meet new people, the pride of representing the state.
Llegó el día del viaje, mucha alegría se desbordaba en toda la delegación, me dirigía en el auto junto a mi compañero de trabajo cuando recibimos un mensaje, este no era motivo de alegrías, todo lo contrario, mucha decepción y tristeza, el viaje había sido suspendido, se presentó un inconveniente con la boletería lo que obligó a cancelar el viaje, en ese momento llegaron a mí muchas emociones, cómo informar esa noticia, romper los sueños de esos niños, me pregunté, será que les enviaron este mensaje a sus padres, qué hago, luego de meditar la situación, mi compañero y yo decidimos acudir al lugar de encuentro con la delegación pero acordamos guardar silencio y esperar un tiempo prudente con la esperanza que la situación de los boletos lograra ser resuelta.
The day of the trip arrived, a lot of joy overflowed throughout the delegation, I was driving the car with my co-worker when we received a message, this was not a reason for joy, on the contrary, much disappointment and sadness, the trip had been suspended, there was a problem with the ticket office which forced to cancel the trip, at that moment many emotions came to me, After meditating on the situation, my partner and I decided to go to the meeting place with the delegation but we agreed to keep silent and wait for a prudent time in the hope that the ticket situation would be resolved.
Al reunirnos con la delegación fuimos recibidos con saludos de emoción y enormes sonrisas, en voz baja nos dijimos, aquí no ha llegado la noticia, vamos a esperar un poco que con el favor de Dios todo se resolverá. Los niños estaban jugando, algunos adultos estaban preparando los alimentos, otros vigilaban y otros salieron a adelantar gestiones que aún no estaban listas para el viaje. Las horas avanzaban y mi preocupación aumentaba, mi compañero y yo nos mirábamos, nos preguntábamos qué hacer, informar sobre el mensaje, aun sin recibir noticias decidimos seguir aguardando, estábamos muy nerviosos y preocupados.

Pasada las horas el teléfono sonó, un nuevo mensaje, resuelta la problemática de la boletería, respiré profundamente y sentí gran alegría, repentinamente llegan los adultos que salieron a realizar gestiones fuera del lugar de reunión, rápidamente el resto de los adultos se le acercó y ellos exclamaron la siguiente frase: ¡Nos vamos, todo está resuelto! En ese momento comprendí lo que estaba pasando, el mensaje cancelando el viaje si llegó a la delegación, pero los padres no se conformaron con esa noticia, rápidamente se pusieron en acción para resolver, ellos pensaron que yo no sabía nada y viceversa, ninguno se atrevió a decir nada, todos seguíamos con la esperanza y la inspiración fue el sueño de estos niños.

At that moment I understood what was happening, the message canceling the trip did reach the delegation, but the parents were not satisfied with that news, they quickly took action to solve, they thought I did not know anything and vice versa, none dared to say anything, we all continued with the hope and inspiration was the dream of these children.
Rápidamente nos pusimos en acción, tomamos el trasporte para dirigirnos al ferry, otra mala noticia, el ferry zarpó, no había más salidas programadas en ese día, estábamos completamente encerrados en la isla, nuevamente la desilusión me embargó, pero esta vez no fui sólo yo, el resto de los adultos también mostraron gran tristeza, que agonía, después de todas las diligencias el viaje se cancela por 5 minutos de retraso, que decepción, ya no sería posible participar en la representación del estado, nuestras ojos y todas nuestras caras mostraban desencanto y oscuridad.
We quickly got into action, we took the transportation to go to the ferry, another bad news, the ferry sailed, there were no more departures scheduled that day, we were completely locked on the island, again the disappointment overwhelmed me, but this time it was not only me, the rest of the adults also showed great sadness, what agony, after all the errands the trip is canceled for 5 minutes of delay, what a disappointment, it would no longer be possible to participate in the representation of the state, our eyes and all our faces showed disappointment and darkness.
Surge una nueva luz, una iniciativa, una propuesta, tomar el ferry del día siguiente, pero esa no era una decisión sólo nuestra, necesitaba la aprobación de las autoridades y delegaciones de los otros estados, pues sería necesario modificar el horario de toda la actividad, alterar las planificaciones y logísticas del resto de las delegaciones. Comenzó el debate, los pros y los contras de dar a los niños la oportunidad de viajar, esa noche la mayoría no durmió en espera de respuesta, llegó la mañana y aun no existía una decisión clara, todos estábamos a la expectativa, ocurrían llamadas para preguntar por noticias, pero se continuaba sin respuesta alguna, casi llegaba la hora límite para abordar el ferry, pero seguíamos sin respuesta, que desesperación, volvían los sentimientos negativos, no vamos a ir, no es posible, ya es tarde, pero los niños mantenía la fe pidiéndonos esperar.

Exactamente una hora antes de la salida del ferry llegó el mensaje aprobando el viaje, inició la emoción pero también el desespero, nos queda poco tiempo, el ferry nos dejará otra vez, todos nos pusimos en rápida acción para movilizarnos al terminal, estábamos contra el tiempo nuevamente, que nervios, otra vez corriendo, gracias a Dios llegamos al lugar y aún no había zarpado, todos respiramos profundamente y abordamos el ferry, que felicidad, que alegría para todos, lo habíamos logrado, aun cuando todo señalaba que no, si se pudo, lo logramos, alcanzamos nuestra meta.

Los sueños de estos niños fueron el motor para alcanzar estas acciones, ellos nunca perdieron su ilusión de viajar, eso nos inspiró a nosotros los adultos a realizar las acciones necesarias para ayudarlos a cumplir sus ilusiones. Debo confesar que en varios momentos pensé que no lograríamos el viaje, pero la esperanza de estos niños se mantuvo intacta. Esta experiencia fue maravillosa y la disfruté grandemente, todas las vivencias antes, durante y después del viaje me permitieron aprender a confiar mucho más en mí y en los niños. Este viaje me dejó una lección, es importante creer en los sueños de nuestros hijos aun cuando parezcan demasiado grandes, tu como padre no debes dejar de creer en ellos, debes estimular y fomentar sus sueños por más grandes o pequeños que parezcan.
The dreams of these children were the driving force to achieve these actions, they never lost their illusion of traveling, that inspired us adults to take the necessary actions to help them fulfill their illusions. I must confess that at several moments I thought we would not make the trip, but the hope of these children remained intact. This experience was wonderful and I enjoyed it greatly, all the experiences before, during and after the trip allowed me to learn to trust myself and the children much more. This trip left me with a lesson, it is important to believe in our children's dreams even when they seem too big, you as a parent should not stop believing in them, you should stimulate and encourage their dreams no matter how big or small they may seem.
