Imitación, desarrollo y etapas (Esp/Ing)

Cada historia es única, los protagonistas viven sus circunstancias y responden de la manera que creen adecuada. Actuar y tomar decisiones irá en consonancia con valores y costumbres, vivo mi maternidad acompañada de mi intuición porque las experiencias ajenas de mis seres cercanos, por exitosas que hayan sido, no se amoldan a mi realidad.

Each story is unique, the protagonists live their circumstances and respond in the way they believe appropriate. Acting and making decisions will be in line with values and customs, I live my motherhood accompanied by my intuition because the experiences of those close to me, no matter how successful they may have been, do not fit my reality.

Insisto en que se deben evitar las comparaciones. De allí que evito en lo posible seguir consejos, patrones, recetas, normas y recomendaciones sobre el cuido y la crianza de Alma sin tener un respaldo científico. Muchas personas esperan que repita sus pasos en lo que respecta a la maternidad, lo que no comparto porque sostengo mi creencia de que los bebés son únicos, así que vamos al ritmo de mi pequeña.

I insist that comparisons should be avoided. Hence, I avoid as much as possible following advice, patterns, recipes, rules and recommendations about Alma's care and upbringing without scientific backing. Many people expect me to follow in their footsteps when it comes to motherhood, which I do not share because I hold to my belief that babies are unique, so we go at my little one's pace.

Esta semana acudimos a su sesión de terapia, Alma ha estado respondiendo muy bien a los estímulos físicos y cognitivos. En esta ocasión, el personal se enfocó en su motricidad fina. Se sorprendieron al observar a la niña respondiendo al "Toma y dame" y a la facilidad con la cual introducía diversos objetos en un recipiente, utilizando sus dedos en forma de pinza.

This week we attended her therapy session, Alma has been responding very well to physical and cognitive stimuli. This time, the staff focused on her fine motor skills. They were surprised to observe her responding to the "Give and take" and the ease with which she was inserting various objects into a container, using her fingers in a pincer grasp.

Con su mirada seguía burbujas, intentaba atraparlas aplaudiendo. Los ejercicios realizados en casa han revertido visiblemente la lateralizacion de su cuello, sin embargo, no podemos descuidarnos en este sentido. También evidenció reflejos de caminar, está muy cerca de lograrlo y estamos complacidos de que no se utilice una andadera para tal fin.

With his eyes he followed bubbles and tried to catch them by clapping his hands. The exercises performed at home have visibly reversed the lateralization of his neck, however, we cannot neglect this. He also showed walking reflexes, he is very close to achieve it and we are pleased that a walker is not used for this purpose.

De acuerdo a los especialistas, Alma está avanzando muy rápido, ya es capaz de aprender por imitación y responde a ciertas palabras, entre ellas su nombre. En lo que respecta a sentir texturas, se le colocó pintura en sus manos y pies, posteriormente, una mezcla gelatinosa, el resultado fue satisfactorio.

According to specialists, Alma is progressing very fast, she is already able to learn by imitation and responds to certain words, including her name. As for feeling textures, she was given paint on her hands and feet, then a gelatinous mixture, and the result was satisfactory.

Continuamos enfocados y comprometidos con su desarrollo, por ello, acatamos las indicaciones y realizamos diariamente los ejercicios de estimulación temprana.

We remain focused and committed to their development, therefore, we follow the indications and perform daily early stimulation exercises.
