Feliz martes a todos los padres, madres y amigos de Hive, espero se encuentren muy bien yo en cambio me cuento transitando con mi bebé por un virus que es llamado Varicela, que es conocido por producir sarpullidos e enrojecimiento por todo el cuerpo, fiebre, malestar, es altamente contagioso, suele darle a los niños que entran en contacto con ésta enfermedad y en menor frecuencia en adultos.
Todo inició hace aproximadamente dos semanas cuando mi bebé estaba durmiendo, siempre tengo la costumbre de pasar mi mano por su frente o cabeza para verificar que ninguna de las dos tenga temperatura ese día cuándo estoy tocando la frente de Abby sentí que tenía fiebre inmediatamente medí su temperatura corporal verificando así que tenía 38,5C° de calentura inmediatamente le di acetominofen, espere unos 40 minutos a que bajará y siguió durmiendo tranquilamente.
Los días siguientes transcurrían en total calma solo notaba que mi bebé estaba un poco perezosa y algunas veces no quería comer solo tomar leche líquida en su vaso, para mi sorpresa hace una semana aproximadamente empecé a notar que tenía en su cuerpo unas lesiones como si fueran ampollas un poco amarillas debo confesar que al principio se me confundieron con unas picadas de zancudos que tenía en sus piernas pero al observar bien y verificar en el paso de los días iban emergiendo más, que estaban enrojecidas y que tenía comezón en cada una de las lesiones que tiene me percaté de que era Varicela o lechina como le llamamos en mi país.
Ustedes dirán la Varicela puede prevenirse con la vacuna pero resulta que para la actualidad está vacuna no se encuentra en los centros asistenciales públicos se supone que forma parte del esquema que debe garantizar el gobierno pero no es así, debe ser adquirida mediante el sistema privado y es bastante costasa, por lo tanto ninguna de mis dos hijas tiene dicha inmunización.
En cambio he decidido tomar medidas para sus cuidados como bañarla con un jabón neutro para limpiar cada una de las lesiones, utilizar una crema 3 veces al día para bajar la comezón que produce este virus, no exponerla al contacto con tras personas para evitar que se contagien y para evitar posibles complicaciones en otras partes de su cuerpo.
Hasta ayer algunas de sus lesiones se encuentran en la fase de costra pero aún son contagiosas y en casa debe permanecer hasta que desaparezcan por completo, por las noches más que todo es cuando se incrementa la picazón y la zona en donde se encuentra el sarpullido se torna bien caliente, por los momentos la mayoría se encuentran en sus brazos, piernas y pies siendo la espalda, dorso y cara las zonas menos afectadas se pueden hasta contar las ampolla, no posee fiebre, ni debilidad alguna.
En casa solo faltaría por contagiarse mi otra hija ya que todos en casa estuvimos en contacto con la enfermedad hace varios años lo cuál nos produce cierta inmunidad y así no correr el riesgo de enfermarnos nuevamente, ahorita a parte de los cuidados me encuentro dándole mucho cariño y amor esperando que pase pronto en los próximos días espero visitar a un doctor para verificar que esté pasando el virus y que todo marche bien.

You will say that Varicella can be prevented with the vaccine but it turns out that this vaccine is not currently available in public health care centers, it is supposed to be part of the scheme that the government should guarantee but it is not, it must be acquired through the private system and it is quite expensive, therefore neither of my two daughters has this immunization.
Instead I have decided to take measures for her care such as bathing her with a neutral soap to clean each of the lesions, use a cream 3 times a day to reduce the itching caused by this virus, do not expose her to contact with other people to prevent them from catching it and to avoid possible complications in other parts of her body.
Until yesterday some of her lesions are in the scab phase but they are still contagious and at home she must remain until they disappear completely, at night is when the itching increases and the area where the rash is located becomes very hot, at the moment most of them are on her arms, legs and feet being the back, back and face the less affected areas, you can even count the blisters, she has no fever or any weakness.
At home only my other daughter would have to be infected since all of us at home were in contact with the disease several years ago, which gives us some immunity and so we do not run the risk of getting sick again, now apart from the care I am giving her a lot of love and affection hoping it will pass soon in the coming days I hope to visit a doctor to verify that she is passing the virus and that everything is going well.
