Learning how to read ABC with kids

I'm excited to drop my entry in response to this engagement. Normally especially in the African settings, women or mothers are the ones that does great percentage of the child's development including the basis for academic pursuit.
As time and knowledge increases, the eyes of the men or fathers begin to expand to see the need for concerted effort in ensuring that children are properly brought and not just the sole responsibility of the the mothers alone.

I must really commend the unfailing love and commitment of my beloved towards the academic development of our children. It hasn't been easy but truly consistency pave way for us and gives us more results.
Our union is blessed with two wonderful kids a boy and a girl. The boy is much more older than the girl.
The eldest child has just started his new life in kindergarten two while the younger just began her fresh life in school this term.
The eldest can confidently recite all the alphabet and write them down. This was achieved through deliberate efforts of both my wife and myself. Shortly I drop some tips that I used in helping them to learn more and better.

tips on how to read with the kids.

• Audio or Audio-visual. This is one of the first techniques I used in teaching my kids. I realised that children learn very well by what they hear or see therefore getting this equipment really built their hearing ability and guided them in pronouncing words. Recently, I noticed a great improvement in my daughter's tongue by calling clearly the alphabets and constructing simple sentences with simple register. Every day once they returned from school, I play the Audio-visual for them while they listened attentively and at times I set it on repeat.
  

• Another way to help them read is acquired some good textbooks. I inquired from the school and I got text books which is consistent with their curriculum one at home and others are left in school so that their teacher would put them through. Sometimes they bring assignments home and I help them do it. When a child constantly does a thing it sticks easily.
  
• Another measure I do is buy exercise books that the child would be using while at home. At least both of them practically write for 10mins before they proceed to school. This tip really helped to improve their performance. Presently, my boy can write legibly.
  
  
  
• There are other prospective equipments I intend to get in order to build up strong environment for their learning. Which includes magnetic board, electronic alphabet, swing, building blocks amongst several others.
