Український народ не припиняє робити все можливе заради перемоги над російським агресором. Але одна справа - спостерігати за активністю людей, що збирають все необхідне для наших воїнів на фронті, не знаходячи можливості бути з ними поруч. І зовсім інша справа - повірити, що навіть твоя краплинка підтримки будь-чим також корисна і потрібна. Як краплинки зливаються в ріки, а ріки - в моря і океани, так і найменша робота для бійців на 'нулі' від кожної людини з тилу - це в сумарному результаті міць і сила нашої армії.
The Ukrainian people do not stop doing everything possible for the sake of victory over the russian aggressor. But it is one thing to observe the activity of people who collect everything necessary for our soldiers at the front, without finding the opportunity to be close to them. And it is a completely different matter to believe that even your little drop of support is also useful and necessary. As droplets merge into rivers, and rivers merge into seas and oceans, so the smallest work for soldiers at "zero" from each person from the rear is, in the aggregate, the power and strength of our army.
І коли я довідалась, що мої сусідки також частенько збираються 'на вечорниці', де готують передачі на фронт, то почала шукати варіанти бути з ними разом. Наприклад, напередодні Нового року наші дівчата зробили масу смаколиків, нав'язали теплих шкарпеток, залили парафіном купу консерв з картоном - для окопних свічок. Напекли пиріжків, накрутили сала з часником для бутербродів, натерли і заправили міцного та корисного хрону, заготували вітамінну пасту з імбирю, меду та лимонів,... Всього і не пригадаю. Можу тільки захоплюватися організованістю та працездатністю своїх сусідок.
And when I found out that my neighbors also often gather "at evening parties" where they prepare broadcasts to the front, I started looking for options to be with them. For example, on the eve of the New Year, our girls made a lot of goodies, put on warm socks, filled a pile of canned goods with cardboard with paraffin - for trench candles. Baked pies, rolled lard with garlic for sandwiches, grated and seasoned strong and healthy horseradish, prepared vitamin paste from ginger, honey and lemons,... I can't remember everything. I can only admire the organization and efficiency of my neighbors.
Знаю, що 'вечорниці' продовжаться незабаром. А в мене за осінь та частину зими накопичилось багато банок від консервів. Так потрібних для приготування окопних свічок бійцям. Ці свічки допомагають їм зігрітися в паузах між боями, підігріти чашку кип'ятку, в темну пору освітити невелику поверхню, щоб хоча б оглянути стан своїх побратимів.
I know that the "evenings" will continue soon. And I have accumulated a lot of cans from canned goods during the fall and part of the winter. So necessary for the preparation of trench candles for soldiers. These candles help them to warm themselves in the pauses between battles, to warm up a cup of boiling water, to illuminate a small surface in the dark, to at least examine the condition of their comrades.
