Було-було холодно і мокро, і ось вже другий день сонячно та тепло. Буквально за ці дні активно почався ріст всілякої зелені на землі: як корисної, так і небажаних бур'янів. Хоча навіть бур'яни бувають неймовірно красивими, як ось ці квіточки.
It was cold and wet, and now it's sunny and warm for the second day. Literally during these days, the growth of all kinds of greenery on the ground began actively: both useful and unwanted weeds. Although even weeds are incredibly beautiful, like these flowers.
Із тієї корисної зелені на грядках поки що не густо. Є трішечки 'живородящої' цибулі. Є молодий зелений часник, є петрушка. І дуже сильно витягнувся вгору щавель. Він потроху став викидати цвіт, що не зовсім бажано для грядки. Бо стебло із квітками щавлю дуже грубе, в борщ не годиться. А те м'якеньке гарне листячко із такого куща одразу перестає випускати новий приріст.
There are still not many of those useful greens on the beds. There are a few "life-giving" onions. There is young green garlic, there is parsley. And the sorrel stretched up very strongly. Little by little, he began to throw out flowers, which is not exactly desirable for the garden. Because the stem with sorrel flowers is very rough, it is not suitable for borscht. And that soft, beautiful leaf from such a bush immediately stops producing new growth.
Тому вирішено було зібрати перший врожай зеленого щавлю. Куди таку кількість примінити? - Без проблем: одна порція піде на борщ одразу, дві інших покладу в морозильну камеру. Не для зимового користування, звісно. Адже за довгий час перебування у морозній атмосфері із зелені випаруються всі корисні речовини. Та й на смак це вже буде не щавель, а якась трава.
Щоб мої заготовки були смачнішими, додаю до щавлю нарізану зелень цибулі, петрушки, і ще трішечки молодого часничку. Все щільно трамбуємо у пакет, і - готово!
Therefore, it was decided to collect the first crop of green sorrel. What to do with so much greenery? - No problem: one portion will go on borscht immediately, I will put the other two in the freezer. Not for winter use, of course. After all, during a long stay in the frosty atmosphere, all the useful substances evaporate from the greens. And it won't taste like sorrel, but some kind of grass.
To make my preparations tastier, I add chopped green onions, parsley, and a little bit of young garlic to the sorrel. We tamp everything tightly in a bag, and it's done!
Перша справжня їстівна зелень порадувала. Адже зовсім скоро підростуть інші овочі, ягоди та фрукти. Тому на душі дуже радісно. Тільки от війна... не дає вона повноцінно насолоджуватися плодами своєї праці. Бо кожного разу, зробивши якісь кроки до покращання домогосподарства, уявляєш: один обломок російської ракети може вмить знищити все це. Як нищать росіянці українські мирні села та міста. Люди роками будували свій побут, роботу, відпочинок. Трудилися, щоб здійснювати свої плани та мрії. А росія підступно прийшла до них із зброєю, щоб стерти з лиця землі мою рідну Україну.
Не буде прощення варварам. Ми все одно переможемо, а росія розпадеться як остання імперія зла!✌️

Only the war... does not allow her to fully enjoy the fruits of her labor. Because every time, after taking some steps to improve the household, you imagine: one fragment of a russian rocket can instantly destroy it all. How russians destroy peaceful Ukrainian villages and towns. People have been building their lives, work, and recreation for years. They worked to realize their plans and dreams. And Russia insidiously came to them with weapons to wipe my native Ukraine off the face of the earth.
There will be no forgiveness for the barbarians. We will still win, and russia will fall apart as the last evil empire!✌️
