I used to wonder: how do oranges ripen in the cold season? This year I saw it with my own eyes in Turkey! Once upon a time, my father gave me a big box of tangerines on December 19 for St. Nicholas Day. Oranges in Ukraine are always the best, most delicious in winter. I have always dreamed of seeing them grow on trees. When I came to the all-inclusive hotel, I didn't see it. And this year, the first miracle I saw when I arrived in Kemer, which fascinated me - orange trees, which are brightly covered with ripe oranges! I saw how it happens in the nature of another country, and it's great!
Колись я дивувалась: як апельсини дозрівають в холодну пору року? Цього року я побачила це на власні очі в Туреччині! Колись давно мій тато дарував мені велику коробку мандаринів 19 грудня на свято Миколая. Апельсини в Україні завжди найкращі, найсмачніші взимку. Я завжди мріяла побачити як вони ростуть на деревах. Коли я приїжджала в готель "все включено", я не бачила цього. І ось цього року перше диво, яке я побачила, коли я приїхала в Кемер, що мене захопило - помаранчеві дерева, які яскраво вкриті дозрілилими апельсинами! Я побачила як це відбувається природі іншої країни, і це супер!
Very friendly and active Turks immediately began to offer us fresh. Its cost was: 10 lira (it's 20 UAH or 30 cents). Cheap enough and very tasty :) The cost of 1 kg of orange in the supermarket is 9 lira. Of course in Ukraine it is 2 times more expensive. So we have a new period in our lives: instead of apples we will eat oranges :)
Дуже привітні та активні турки відразу почали пропонувати нам фреш. Його вартість була: маленький 10 лір ( це 20 грн або 30 центів ). Достатньо дешево і дуже смачно :) Вартість 1 кг апельсин в супермаркеті 9 лір. Звичайно в Україні дорожче, в 2 рази. Отож в нас почався новий період в житті: замість яблук ми будемо їсти апельсини :)
After all, in Ukraine we have apples lying on the ground under every tree and rotting. And here, in the same way, oranges are lying under the trees. Several times they fell at our feet and crashed into the pavement. I decided to gather and taste. They were very tasty and juicy, better than the ones I bought in the supermarket.
Адже в Україні у нас під кожним деревом лежать яблука на землі, і гниють. А тут точно так само під деревами валяються апельсини. Кілька разів вони падали нам під ноги і розбивались об бруківку. Я вирішила назбирати і скуштувати. Вони були дуже смачні та соковиті, кращі ніж ті, які я купила в супермаркеті.
This was my first experience. And I wanted a tree :) One day I saw people walking down the street and picking oranges from trees that grew behind the net in other people's gardens. But we do not do that! Therefore, while walking, we could only collect or pluck a few in an area that did not belong to the owners of the gardens. And here we learned the truth about these beautiful-looking orange fruits: it turns out they are different and not all taste the same!
Це був мій перший досвід. І я хотіла з дерева :) Одного разу я побачила, як люди ходили по вулиці і зривали апельсини з дерев, які росли за сіткою в чужих садах. Але ми так не поступаємо! Тому, гуляючи, ми могли лише збирати, або зірвати кілька на території, яка не належала власникам садів. І ось тут ми дізнались правду про ці гарні на вигляд оранжеві плоди: виявляється вони є різні і не всі однакові на смак!
There are some that look good but there are sour ones like lemon. And they are called differently, I do not remember. When I broke down, a Turkish gentleman approached me and explained the difference! And I was convinced that this is true - I could not eat them)))
In addition - it turns out that orange trees have large thorns and the fruit can not be plucked, because his hands were rubbed to the blood! So I gave up trying to pluck an orange from a tree))) We continued to buy them in the supermarket, and then learned that there is an even better variety of orange, which is twice as expensive. They are larger in size and have a unique delicious sour-sweet taste! We bought them at the market, which is every Monday in Kemer. Peasants come here and bring everything fresh. Prices are cheaper than in the supermarket.
Є такі, які виглядають гарно але є такі кислі наче лимон. І вони називаються інакше, я не пам'ятаю. Коли я зірвала, до мене підійшов турецький пан і пояснив різницю! І я переконалась, що це правда - я не могла їсти їх )))
Окрім цього - виявляється що апельсинові дерева мають великі колючки і плоди неможливо зірвати, тому що руки обдерла до крові! Тому я відмовилась від спроби зірвати апельсину з дерева ))) Ми продовжували купувати їх в супермаркеті, а потім дізналися що є ще кращий сорт апельсин, який коштує вдвічі дорожче. Вони більші за розміром і мають унікальний вишуканий кисло солодкий смак! Ми купили їх на ринку, який є щопонеділка в Кемері. Сюди приїжджають селяни і привозять все свіже. Ціни дешевші, ніж в супермаркеті.
And have you ever seen an orange tree bloom! It was a real miracle for me! At first I saw white flowers that looked like stars. I didn't know it bloomed so beautifully! I came closer and saw that the tree was both orange and flowers! This is amazing!
А чи бачили ви коли небудь як цвіте апельсинове дерево! Це стало для мене справжнім дивом! Спочатку я побачила білі квіти, схожі на зірки. Я не знала, що це так гарно цвіте! Я підійшла ближче і ось я побачила що на дереві були одночасно плоди апельсину та квіти! Це дивовижно!
Turkey is a real orange paradise! It is very nice to have orange trees blooming and bearing fruit, and it is very nice to watch the palm and orange orchards every day! Orange color creates a good mood.
Туреччина це справжній апельсиновий рай! Довкола нас цвітуть та плодоносять апельсинові дерева і спостерігати щодня пальмові та апельсинові сади є дуже приємно! Оранжевий колір створює гарний настрій.
There are also lemon trees here, sometimes I find one lemon, which is enough for me for a week to drink lemon water in the morning before my coffee. In addition, lemons are added to all the dishes I order in the cafe: to fish and even to lentil soup soup, to which you need to add lemon juice. A slice of lemon lies next to a plate of soup.
Також тут є лимонні дерева, іноді я знаходжу один лимон, якого мені вистачає на тиждень, щоб пити вранці лимонну воду перед моєю кавою. Окрім цього лимони додають до всіх страв, які я замовляю в кафе: до риби і навіть до чечевичного супу чорба, до якого потрібно добавити лимонний сік. Скибочка лимону лежить поряд з тарілкою супу.
We get to know the nature of Turkey in the spring and it is really very interesting. And at the same time in my Ukraine there is also my favorite time of spring! Yesterday my husband went to the village where my parents lived and took a picture of my garden. Dogwood blooms, anemones under walnut trees and my favorite primrose in the raspberry garden! I felt homesick. I want so much that my native village Rokytne is preserved and I walked there barefoot again as before ...
Ми пізнаємо природу Туреччини весною і це справді є дуже цікаво. А в той самий час в моїй Україні теж є моя улюблена пора весна! Вчора мій чоловік їздив в село, де жили мої батьки, і сфотографував мій сад. Цвіте кизил, анемони під горіховими деревами і мій улюблений первоцвіт в малиновому саду! Я відчула тугу за моєю рідною землею. Я настільки сильно бажаю, щоб моє рідне село Рокитне збереглось і я знову гуляла там босими ногами як раніше...
Every day I read news from Ukraine and listen to President Zelensky's report, which tells what was done by our heroic defenders and what was done by non-humans...
I look at this man's face and see the suffering of a courageous man ... He has grown old ... I remember: a few years ago there was a presidential election. Then I thought: why should Zelensky be president? After all, he had money, fame ... Being president is a very big responsibility !!! Why does a person want to be president? Is it really this desire to achieve more? ... Many of my friends from Lviv did not trust him. And now many Ukrainians have changed their minds about him and respect him. I want to believe that this little big and strong man will lead our Ukraine to victory and prosperity!
Щодня я читаю новини з України і слухаю звіт президента Зеленського, який розповідає що було зроблено нашими героїчними захисниками
, а також що було зроблено нелюдами...
Я дивлюсь на обличчя цієї людини і бачу страждання мужнього чоловіка... Він постарів...Пам'ятаю: кілька років тому були вибори президента. Тоді я думала: для чого Зеленському бути президентом? Адже він мав гроші, славу... Бути президентом - це дуже велика відповідальність!!! Чому людина прагне бути президентом? Невже справді це бажання досягнути більшого?... Йому не довіряли багато моїх друзів зі Львова. А зараз багато українців змінили свою думку про нього і поважають його. Я хочу вірити що цей маленький великий та сильний духом чоловік приведе нашу Україну до перемоги та процвітання!
