Town Square of Tanjung Balai | Indonesia - enjoy being together with family

Greetings friends in the Hive community. Today I want to share our travel experience in #pinmapple community and this is our another new post in pinmapple.

actually, this square has existed in tanjung balai for quite a long time and indeed it is devoted to big events which are often celebrated by residents of the city of tanjung balai but because in the afternoon many people gather here, the mayor of the city of tanjung balai finally agreed to this square in use also as a place of recreation and gathering of residents of Tanjung Balai in the afternoon. we came to this city because there was a personal visit, the trip we took from Medan was by train which was quite cheap, only IDR 60k. there is no entry fee charged, everything is free.

there are many entrances available here and we entered from the north side adjacent to the train station. at every entrance there are lots of people selling food, drinks, balloons and offering scooter rental services. we were immediately offered to rent scooters available there, even though it was only 15 minutes but the rates charged were quite cheap, around IDR 25k per scooter that can be rented and the maximum capacity on the scooter is 2 people.

there are many choices of scooters to choose from here, for adults (15 years and over) they will usually choose an electric scooter that has 3 or 4 wheels because it is more comfortable.

but for children, usually when they choose a 2-wheeled scooter or an electric car that is also available, of course the rental rates used vary due to age and weight which affect.

I personally asked the person who rented out these electric scooters, and was quite surprised to hear the price for each of these electric scooters, but the income that can be obtained per day only in the afternoon is quite tempting and he said the residents of Tanjung Balai are always busy visiting the town square it's in the afternoon, it's never quiet. after being satisfied using the scooter, we continued to walk around.

Apart from electric scooters and food, there is also a kind of game here to hone the creativity of young children under 10 years old. the fees charged are also very cheap, only around IDR 10K per game that is carried out and if you successfully complete it, there is a small prize that can be obtained.

at the end near the southern entrance, we saw that there was a propeller game, but we didn't intend to ride it for security reasons and I'm sure there was no quality check team checking the propeller game.

to be honest, I think it's good to make this town square into four gatherings of Tanjung Balai residents every afternoon, but the party who rents it should maintain cleanliness here. We are lucky to visit in a crowded situation, if it was quiet, surely we would be very disturbed by the vendors who entice us to just eat, drink or rent their electric scooters.

That's all I can say today, I hope you like this post. Don't forget to keep exploring new places. See you in the next post.
