Phu Quoc Island is located deep in the Gulf of Thailand surrounded by the sea, Phu Quoc has a cool climate with two distinct seasons, the dry season and the rainy season. Phu Quoc dry season: Lasts from November to April next year. With beautiful sunny weather and little rain, this is often considered the ideal travel time to enjoy the best moments in Phu Quoc Pearl Island Rainy season: Starting from May to October, the most rain is in September, October and can last all day. At this time, the western beaches of Pearl Island may experience high waves and rough seas, the eastern beaches are often cloudy. Therefore, if you come to Phu Quoc in the rainy season, you should consider some destinations in the north of the island such as Bai Dai, Bai Xep, Bai Dat Do... in the south of the island. I did my trip in December, this is the best time on the island here.

On this island, there are quite a few world-class 5-star resorts, along with VinPearl's entertainment areas. But you know, I'm a person who doesn't like entertainment venues like that. When I come to an island, the first thing I will do is ask the people around here and plan my trip. Once I have the necessary information, I will follow a route so that I can fully explore the island. This island has famous places such as Bai Sao, An Thoi Archipelago, Dinh Cau, Ham Ninh Fishing Village, Rach Vem Fishing Village, Ganh Dau Cape. Among the places I am most impressed with are the fishing villages here. Ham Ninh fishing village in Phu Quoc has wild and peaceful features. This place is also the main source of seafood for the people of Phu Quoc pearl island. The wide and fresh coast of Ham Ninh fishing village is one of the most beautiful sunrise spots on this island. This is also a familiar destination for foodies with countless fresh fish dishes, caught and processed on the spot. The site of Dinh Cau in Phu Quoc is a famous spiritual site only about 200m from the city center. With a prime location on the cliffs overlooking the sea, Dinh Cau is beautiful and majestic, enjoying the fresh sea air. According to records, this place is associated with the story of the people of Phu Quoc, miraculously saved in the storm that landed right on this cliff, since then the people of the pearl island together built Dinh Cau and worshiped for the people of Phu Quoc. to this day. As for the beautiful beaches of Phu Quoc island, it must be mentioned that Sao beach, Sao beach has a sand beach of 7 km long, bringing a very unique beauty: pure white sand, soft, winding arc, especially the sea. It is very quiet here even in the rainy season, the seawater is clear. The seawater at Bai Sao is not too deep, the beach is wide, so it is relatively safe even for families with young children traveling to Phu Quoc.

In addition to the places I introduced above, this island also has other famous places such as Phu Quoc prison, Truc Lam monastery. In addition to fresh seafood dishes, Phu Quoc island also has special dishes such as Bun Ken, herring salad, vermicelli, and Mushroom Tram soup. If after visiting this island, you can buy gifts for your loved ones such as dried seafood, Phu Quoc fish sauce, Banh Khot. As for souvenirs, you can buy pearls, the price of pearls ranges from 1000$ to a few US dollars. One thing to keep in mind when you buy gifts for friends and relatives. If you buy fish sauce, you must pack it carefully to avoid strong odors, otherwise, airport security will remove your gift from your luggage. This trip of mine is all about sleeping in homestays and sleeping in camping tents. I took a lot of sunset and sunrise photos here. If you watch the sunset, you should go to the west coast of the island, if you watch the sunrise, you should go to the east coast of Phu Quoc island. My favorite is watching the sunset of Phu Quoc because the sunset of Phu Quoc has a very beautiful purple color, these are rare places where you can see the purple sunset. These are my experiences when traveling to this beautiful island, I will have more detailed articles about the places of this island in the following articles. Let's all take a look at the beautiful pictures I took of this island. Thank you for your interest in my travel post today, have a nice weekend everyone.
