Muzium Negara, Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia

On my recent trip to Kuala Lumpur, I really felt lost in Kuala Lumpur because the main reason was, I didn't have an itinerary, secondly I didn't understand the train route in Kuala Lumpur so it took a lot of time, and the main destination often changed.

Like this, I planned to go to the Kuala Lumpur Botanic Garden, but because the train route was very complicated for me, so I had spent time trying to find a way to go there. It was getting dark and I felt that going to the garden when it was dark was not a good idea. So I looked for a tourist spot that wouldn't affect me, and I chose the National Museum because I expected it would be better to see the national collection indoors.

So here is the Muzium Negara...

To go to the State Museum is very easy. You only need to go to KL Sentral station and then walk a few minutes to Muzium Negara station. But unfortunately, to go here you need to buy tokens too. It's really complicated.

When you leave the State Museum station, you will immediately meet the State Museum. This is a very big and nice Museum.

Unfortunately, when I arrived there, the Museum was closed and I couldn't go in. However, the outside of the Museum is very nice to look at because it has value as the face of Kuala Lumpur.

When I got out of the Station, the first thing I saw in this Museum was this replica of an airplane. It was an Eagle 150B Aircraft, which was the first airplane created or made by the Malaysian government in 1993. This was the first airplane that was made as a national airplane project that would later be used for state needs. However, unfortunately, this airplane-making project was run by an Australian community.

Then, interestingly, on the left and right sides of the museum building, there is a pool which I initially thought was open to the public.

The front yard of the State Museum is very wide and magnificent. From the architecture, it looks like it has many meanings. This is like a multi-purpose building that can accommodate thousands of people.

But when I was there, the museum was really quiet. There were only people passing by who had just left the station. I enjoyed walking around the museum even though I couldn't enter it. This is the splendor of the State Museum building.

This is the most interesting, the pattern of the floor and walls at the main door of the State Museum. And the best is the mosaic pattern of the main stairs.

This reminds me of the console game Tetris. This pattern is apparently adopted from the pattern used in the Old Town of Austria. It is really interesting and unusual.

• Backyard

Let's take a walk to the backyard which has something nice. If you notice, there are some corners of the museum that have murals like this. I assume, this mural is the face of Malaysian society. It can be identified from what the people are doing in the mural. Awesome!

When we walk a few steps from this mural, we will be faced with this car exhibition. In Malay, a car is a train. So this is a form of luxury carriage in the past. Then there are also today's cars, which type they don't know.

This gave me goosebumps because it's a Malay tombstone, so I skipped this part.

Istana Satu

This is a replica of the Istana Satu building. According to the information on board, this is one of the buildings in the tourist complex built at the foot of Bukit Puteri during the reign of the XI Sultan of Terengganu - Sultan Zaunal Abidin III in 1881 to 1918. You can imagine if this one palace was inhabited by the King's wife, Cik Aminah.

Looks how simple that building.

So, have you been here before me? This is unplanned destination. I think If I visit Kuala Lumpur again, I will not skip the opportunity to entering the museum and see what's on inside.
