Adventure on four wheels on a desert safari in Dubai
Hello to all travellers around the world
I come to you today with a post about the experience I had on one of the days I spent in Dubai last December.
When it comes to Dubai we didn't just think about sandy beaches or the tallest buildings in the world, we tried to combine the places Dubai is known for with the culture of the country and adrenaline-pumping experiences.
So after a bit of research on the offers available for certain activities in Dubai, we managed to choose a local travel agency in Dubai (the owners were of Romanian origin), the employees were from Romania so we had no language barrier and we were able to settle all the details.
Today I want to share with you the experience I had on my four-wheeled desert adventure.
We have wanted to do this desert safari since we bought the plane tickets, I am sure we would have been very disappointed if we had not managed to do this safari.
Let the adventure begin.
The package we purchased included pick up from the hotel where we were staying and our transfer to where a 4X4 would take us to the sand dunes.
The cost for one person on this adventure was around 50 euros, from my own experience I can tell you it was worth every cent, and the whole adventure lasts between 5-7 hours.
From the hotel to the campsite from where we were to be picked up by another car was about an hour's drive on the highways of Dubai, even this transfer was a unique experience.
In this campsite we had the possibility to take pictures with camels, to ride through the desert with ATVs (for a fee) or to buy souvenirs or scarves.
From here we could buy very interesting personalized souvenirs.
This is where the wheels were deflated and prepared for the hot sand.
We really appreciated the driver we had because he was patient with each of us, whether it was taking our pictures or putting a scarf on our heads.
We got to the most awaited part, namely Dune Bashing, with the help of the professional driver we had, we experienced some emotions at maximum intensity.
I was surprised to see that even in these very harsh conditions there is still life.
The desert experiences lasted more than an hour, this is where Dune Bashing came in as well as two stops for sunset photos.
After finishing our photo session in the middle of the desert we continued our adventure to the Bedouin camp, wow what an amazing experience.
Yes, and here we had an appetizer and a main course included in the price, I must admit the Bedouin camp experience was perfect.
Also included in the price was a small henna tattoo.
My dear visitors our adventure in the middle of the Dubai desert has come to an end.
THE END!
