If you have been a follower of mine, you would know I am a huge fan of Hello Kitty. There is currently a popup collaboration with Saiyuki with their characters all paired up with a Sanrio friend. This collab is very special with the Saiyuki characters all dressed up or put in the colours of the Sanrio pair creating this epic collab.
The pop up is at Shinsabashi top level of the Parco building in Osaka. Due to some restritions for taking photos, I can only show you all what I could. The entrances starts with the popup store with lots of merch of the collab. From acrylic stands, hoodie, badges, keyrings, posters, there is something for all the fans. All the products aren't cheap but nothing is cheap when it comes to Sanrio goods. The merch I like the most are the big arcylic stands and the display with glitter.
In the end, we bought the keyrings as the boys loved them. They were super large sized ones at 900 yen each. Personally I wouldn't have bought them but the boys wanted to have them hanging on their bags so why not. It's a place to get your poor easily. After we have paid, we walk through a small exhibition. It has drawings of the manga with the characters together, the artist's signature, and a super long waller poster on both sides.
The popup store and exhibition is only till Christmas so if you are in Osaka, make sure to drop by and have a look. The exhibition has been running just over a week already and many items have been sold out already when we visited.
