Since I boarded on Hive Blockchain, I have roughly 20 posts about New Zealand on pinmapple. I even write about it more than Viet Nam😄, soon I will show you more about my beautiful country. Today, let me continue to take you to another top spot in New Zealand- Wanaka. Ops, the journey hasn't finished yet but I'm running out of words to express the natural beauty of this awsome landscape. 😆
Located in the stunning alps of the South Island and just an short drive from Queenstown, the lakeside town of Wanaka attracts visitors with its spectacular landscapes and range of things to do such as fishing, hiking, skiing, skydiving, etc.
WANAKA LAKE & THAT LONELY TREE
Wanaka Lake is stunning, spectacular surroundings and definitely a perfect spot for cool photos. The water is very clear and great for a refreshing swim on a sunny day. Plus, the town is right on the waterfront and has so many Great restaurants, shops and cafes!

QUEENSTOWN-WANAKA ROUTE
WANAKA LAVENDER FARM
I remmember the entry ticket was reasonable with $5 only-totally worth for the value. It's a beautiful farm and gorgeous atmosphere. You can enjoy the breathtaking walk around and then head over to the coffee and enjoy their herbal tea and ice-cream which made from their own local ingredients. In additional, you will find a bunch of souvenirs and gifts available in the store as well, along with well priced produces as essential oils, soaps, perfumes, balms and more!
ROY'S PEAK
Most traveller who go to Wanaka all wanting a pictire at Roy's Peak, haha. The track is reasonably well formed & full 16km track up and down with unbelievable views. A energetic climb but great reward. The line can be overwhelming for the most Instagmable photo 😄, so highly recommend to begin your hike early in the morning if you don't want to wait long for that "hot pic"; especially in the summer- peak season. If you can make it before sunrise; it's surely the best time in your life
ISTHMUS PEAK TRACK
Another Hike is as beutiful as Roy's Peak but no crowds. Isthmus peak Track is 1385m high and estimatedly takes 4-8 hours round trip, depending on one's level of fitness. The track overlooks both Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea with great views. This is secret as not many tourists know, I did few hikes in New Zealand and I tell you this was one of the best hikings. The scenery all along the way is fabulous. It's a bit steep, achievable steps but the view is truly gorgeous
SKYDIVING
This was coolest experience ever in my lifetime. I highly recommed Wanaka as it is most spectacular place in New Zealand to do your Skydive. Well, it's scary but totally incredible when you jump out of a plane at 12,000ft height.
