Shimla is located in the foothills of the Himalayas. It was the summer capital of British India and it is a great tourist attraction nowadays. It hosts tourists from all over the world due to its beauty and historic significance. It is surrounded by green hills and snow-capped mountains. The town of SHIMLA is blessed with all the natural bounties that one can think of.

SHIMLA is currently the capital of Himachal Pradesh and home to 77,000 people. The place retains its colonial heritage through grand old buildings, charming oil lamp posts, and Anglo-Saxon names. You can reach the town by air, road, and train but I would personally recommend traveling by road as it would give you beautiful glimpses of the HIMALAYAN countryside.

Shimla is one of India's most famous hill resorts and is also home to the Hand-loom weaving industry. The city is also a witness to some of India's great historic events. It is also an excellent base for treks in the surrounding hills.

Summer is the best time to visit if you are planning to do activities like trekking, paragliding, camping, and rafting. On a scale of 10, I would rate it 8.5/10 and you should definitely consider visiting this place if you are planning an adventurous vacation in the Himalayas .

Hope you guys enjoyed today's blog.

Adios!☺️
