Koh Sichang. Day trip on the beach near Bangkok.วันเดียวก็เที่ยวทะเลได้

Next let’s head to Koh Sichang!

Koh Sichang can be reached quite easily as well! If you don't have a personal car, just take a van to Koh Loi in Chonburi Province!

The boat fare is only 40 Baht (about $1) and it takes around 45 minutes. You can relax and look out at the sea and cargo ships passing by that are also headed to Koh Sichang.

When we think of Koh Sichang, we often think of a white wooden bridge stretching into the sea. This is the old seaside pavilion located at the Phra Chudadhuj Palace Museum. Originally Phra Chutadhuj Palace was the summer residence of King Chulalongkorn and the royal family. The building is a combination of Thai and Western architecture and is beautifully designed. There are ponds and lighthouses in the area as well!

There are motorcycles for rent or shuttle cars available to pick up and drop off tourists at all of the islands attractions, such as San Chaopho Khao Yai Shrine! This sacred place is highly respected by the local villagers and is very important in their minds.

The Footprint of the Lord Buddha.
It's located on the mountain on the northern side of the island and you can walk up the mountain at a leisurely pace. There's plenty of shade along the way and when you reach the top there will be a cave of Chinese architecture with sacred things to worship and ask for blessings.

Ao Atsadang, or as the locals call it Tham Phang Beach, is a curved water inlet covered with sand dunes. This beach is great for fishing and watching the sunset!

At the back of the island is Chong Khao Kad, which from a distance looks like a hole, which is why the villagers gave it that name. In this area, a bridge was built along the cliff so that tourists can sit and admire the view while feeling the cool sea breeze and watching glorious sun sets over the sea.

See you again on the next trip.❤️
