Koh Larn Island Pattaya เกาะล้าน
Koh Larn Island near Pattaya is also very accessible and only a short 2.5 hour drive from Bangkok! After you drop off your car at Bali Hai Laem, you can take one of the packet boats across to the island for only a dollar.

Koh Larn is only 7.5 kilometers from Pattaya Beach and is famous for its beautiful scenery. The island has clean white sandy beaches and clear blue water that is perfect for a relaxing day away from the city! There's water skiing and jet skiing available as well as plenty of restaurants and hotels.

There are several lovely beaches on the island, such as Tawaen Beach which you can reach directly from Bali Hai Pier or by driving a motorcycle around the island. There's also a shuttle truck parked in front of the temple near Na Ban Pier for only 30 Baht per person if you want to ride on more than two wheels or motorcycle taxis that will help you travel between the beaches for 50 Baht per person. You should come to play in the water or to sit and chill at the various shops. There are often canvas beds available in many of the shops!
Tawaen Beach is very wide and the sand and water stretch on for many kilometers. The sea is a sparkling clear blue and the water isn't very deep. There are many places to rent inner tubes along the beach for playing in the water and almost everyone that visits Tawaen Beach takes pictures with the colorful rings.
Thong Lang Beach is located to the north of Tawaen Beach and has a steeper slope. This beach has become a popular vacation spot for tourists who want a calm and quiet atmosphere with fewer people around. The most popular activity at Thong Lang Beach is snorkeling in the shallow coral reefs near the area that connects to Tawaen Beach. There's also a Sea Walker underwater coral viewing activity for those that aren't comfortable diving and a glass bottom boat tour as well!
On the north side of Koh Larn, you can find Ta Yai Beach at the very tip of the island. The atmosphere is very relaxed and this beach is smaller than the others but just as beautiful. Stop by to enjoy the clear blue sea, calm waves and lots of nice spots to take photos.
Ta Yai is the perfect place to sit and relax on the beach with stunning rocks for a spectacular backdrop. Make sure to bring some mats, drinks and food to have a picnic! The waters around Ta Yai have a lovely blue gradient and the calm waters are suitable for playing. It doesn't hurt to just sit and admire the view while enjoying the cool breeze either! There's plenty of shade and beautiful areas for taking photos as well.
