I am a lover of nature and everything that surrounds me, visiting the city of Vienna I did not miss to visit the beautiful Schönbrunn Palace, which dominates its beauty and the nature that surrounds it, near it is the zoo, which I also had the opportunity to visit.
This zoo was founded in 1752, and is one of the oldest zoos in the world. It was built during the reign of Maria Theresa, who thus expanded the castle. To this day, it has preserved its charm to the long tradition it has.
The zoo is spread over a large area, and the space where the animals are located is made to such an extent that the living conditions are reminiscent of the environment where those animals come from, or rather the place is made to resemble their natural habitat.
In ancient times, the zoo was surrounded by high walls, today it looks different because later the walls were torn down to see the animals better.
The attraction that was very important for this zoo was the giraffe, in addition to dominating the zoo, its arrival is reflected in the then fashion in Vienna. Various clothing items and jewelry were created with motifs and colors that the giraffe has on it.
I was especially attracted by a small koala that sleeps persistently, probably the best time to photograph koalas is when they get food, then they are probably hungry, so they can be photographed in another position.
Right next to the koala there is also a giant panda, I think it is one of the rare zoos where giant pandas can be seen. In addition to all the animals that are in the zoo and there are really many species, this attractive zoo boasts examples of animals that it owns.
It is impossible to bypass the elephant, this large animal, which is mainly found in tropical regions such as Asia and Africa, today we often meet them in zoos. And if perhaps these animals are just a zoo resident for us in Europe, I think this animal should really be respected. Because she is a calm and intelligent animal, one of the great helpers of the inhabitants of the country in which he lives.
Zebras are a miracle of nature, the most beautiful horses of the dominant stripes that they wear very proudly, I think that their stripes are unique and that they are probably different with every zebra, although it may not be noticeable by looking at them.
One question that made me want to know more about the dominant stripes on the body of this beautiful animal? I got the answer to that from people who take care of these animals in the zoo, the stripes on the zebra's body are a great way to defend against various insects such as flies.
I managed to take one beautiful photo of a seal, because she spends a lot of time in the water, she is said to be as agile in the water as she is just as clumsy on the ground.

A hippopotamus that mostly loves water, but also does well on land, is a bulky animal that runs faster than a human, even if it is very heavy and has short legs.
American black bears, although they are called black bears, their fur can also be yellowish, dark brown or black. In this zoo, I had the opportunity to see a bear with black dominant fur, which, even in a lying position, seems to be ready for action or defense.
The lion, which in many cultures has taken the position of the king of animals, can be seen on various coats of arms today, which means that the lion fascinated people.
Deer include a large number of species, and the most beautiful are males who are proud of their horns, the difference between deer is characterized by the shape of the horns themselves.
Proud ostrich with magnificent feathers, I think that the ostrich is the largest bird in the world, and if it has wings, this bird does not belong to flying birds but to runners, it is very fast and agile.
In this zoo we can see almost every animal and a small baroque building that still adorns the zoo today.
Once upon a time, the entrance to the zoo's visitors was free, but today the price of a ticket per person is 22 euros, and for children older than 6 it is 11 euros.
When we got tired of a long walk in the area where the zoo is, there are several restaurants where you can refresh yourself with a drink.
