A journey that starts with something that doesn't start with a plan, is often a separate reason for us to feel happy, right?
A few days ago I traveled out of town, I came to a city center which is quite popular in my area, namely the city of Banda Aceh, this city is the center of the city of Aceh. There I stayed at my friend's house, it's been a long time since I didn't work in the city three years ago, I never visited this place again. But for something unexpected I was called back to come here. After taking the exam on the appointed day, the next day I was invited by my best friend's family to visit a waterfall bath.
Seuhom Waterfall is a waterfall that has a distance of 75 km, which is 1 hour's drive from the city of Banda Aceh by private or rented vehicle. This waterfall itself is in the Lhoong sub-district, Aceh Besar Regency, to be precise, on the west coast of Aceh. This waterfall, which has a million benefits for the local community, has quite an interesting view when you start to travel a fairly steep distance.
This waterfall itself is one of the main sources of water for the local community, besides that it is also used as a hydroelectric power plant. You can see this directly from below, on the 2nd level of the waterfall, there is a small house specifically for storing the machine. And in that area it is strictly prohibited for everyone who visits.
You will be presented with views of towering mountains, as well as views of the sea when the car starts climbing above the high roads, namely the Karo and Kulu hills. Not only that, you can also enjoy the beauty of nature with the presence of monkeys along the way, sitting in a row on the side of the road.
It's very adorable and also spoils your eyes even though the roads are quite steep it won't make you bored in the car. In the rainy season this road often experiences landslides, so you have to be very careful when crossing this road when the rainy season arrives.
Arriving at the waterfall you will get a beautiful atmosphere and of course it is very cool and also cool with a gentle breeze and a very beautiful waterfall. This waterfall itself has several levels with a length of 18 meters. But unfortunately when we arrived the water started to recede because it had been dry here for quite a while.
Relaxing buildings made of concrete are neatly aligned at that location. When I took a photo from above, the waterfall lay flat and you can see it perfectly.
Apart from that, you can also take photo spots from the top of the rock which is right on the edge of the waterfall river so it is very soothing to the eye. What's more, you like swimming, you can swim right in the waterfall area, the water is very cool, and also very fun, of course.
There are also many huts on the other side of the river, the huts are intended for selling by the local community. Now, it's a coincidence that we came here in the month of Ramadan so that tourist attractions in this area are closed, not only here, other tours in the Aceh region will also be closed if the month of Ramadan is like this.
After returning from the waterfall we continued our journey to our relative's house just below the hill of Mount Guruteei, where we visited the Lhok Sara beach. The atmosphere is very beautiful, you can enjoy the atmosphere of the beach and enjoy the sunset. Very beautiful isn't it? playing in the river as well as the sea with a very beautiful view.
