En este día tu tuve la dicha de recorrer un lugar muy especial de gran patrimonio histórico para Venezuela, es la Casa de la Capitulación que se encuentra ubicada en todo el casco central de nuestra ciudad de Maracaibo, en esta hermosa Casona de Estilo Colonial se alberga gran historia para Maracaibo y Venezuela, ya que en dicho lugar se firmo el tratado de la independencia de la Capitulación que sello la Independencia de la Gran Colombia, que liberto nuestro país del yugo español por medio de la Batalla Naval del Lago de Maracaibo en 1823.
On this day I had the pleasure of touring a very special place of great historical heritage for Venezuela, is the House of the Capitulation that is located throughout the central helmet of our city of Maracaibo, in this beautiful Colonial style mansion houses great history for Maracaibo and Venezuela, since in this place was signed the treaty of independence of the Capitulation that sealed the independence of Gran Colombia, which freed our country from the Spanish yoke through the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo in 1823.
La fallada de la Casa de la Capitulación podemos observar las banderas de todos los países hermanos de la libertad como Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Bolivia y Panamá que nos invita a recorrar el papel protagonico de Simón Bolivar por estos países.

El primer salón encontramos a todos los héroes de la Gran Colombia que formaron parte de la Batalla Naval del Lago de Maracaibo, que sello nuestra independencia, cabe destacar que esta batalla fue liderada por el comandante José Padilla en compañía con su ejército. Todos los tratados se encuentran enmarcados en un estante de cristal, con puño y letra de cada uno de los procederes que participaron en esta batalla, en conjunto con las firmas de cada uno de ellos incluyendo la firma de Simón Bolivar nuestro liberador.

Cabe destacar que esta es una casa con una arquitectura en alto, de dos plantas con un patio amplio donde el protagonismo se lo lleva la madera que sostiene y soporta su estructura, así como también las tejas que cubren su techo es una de las casas más antiguas de la ciudad de Maracaibo y nos regala una exposición gráfica de tanta historia como lo es la Batalla Naval del Lago.

Por último para finalizar no pude subir a su segunda planta, que esconde un gran misterio escalofriante, donde se encuentran las manos ensangrentadas en un cuadro de Josefa caballero, una ama de llaves habitante de esta casa que fue asesinada de 7 apuñaladas, el guía nos contó que sus fantasma se encuentra penando en el lugar, también un dato curioso es que en dicha casa existen pasadizos que usaban los habitantes de la época que le permitía llegar a otras partes de Maracaibo.
Finally to finish I could not climb to its second floor, which hides a great chilling mystery, where the bloody hands are found in a picture of Josefa Caballero, a housekeeper inhabitant of this house who was killed by 7 stab wounds, the guide told us that her ghost is grieving in the place, also a curious fact is that in this house there are passages used by the inhabitants of the time that allowed him to reach other parts of Maracaibo.
