Good morning fellow travelers! I hope you are all well and enjoying a nice trip or rest.
Falcon state is one of my favorites in Venezuela because it has several natural tourist attractions including its dunes and beaches, continuing with the adventure of my last trip in the company of my sister @noelyss and after visiting the northernmost geographical point of my country which is Cape San Roman, we returned to the bus to now know the second place scheduled in the tour of the tourist agency, called: Las Salinas de Cumaraguas which are located northwest of the Paraguana Peninsula, is part of the 200. It is part of the 200,000 hectares for salt extraction in the state.
After traveling a few kilometers we arrived at the Cumaraguas sector where Las Salinas with the same name are located, with a beauty almost indescribable and unparalleled, walking along the shore, while watching how the scarce water they have turns pink is really beautiful and although this time we could not see them dyed red because it was about 8:00 am which was very early, one of the areas was dyed in light pink and the other with a very captivating light blue.
The reason why the salt flats are dyed pink and red is because they have an algae that lives in high concentrations of salinity and the more sun they can receive the more noticeable is its color, without the presence of the sun are displayed in light blue color, to see them well dyed should be visited at noon or afternoon.
As we walked through the expanses of sand we could see the clusters of abundant salt, it should be noted that Las Salinas de Cumaraguas is one of the five natural salt mines found in the state and its name comes from a crab that lives in the area called Cumaragua, I found it quite fascinating how the white color of the salt stood out among the gray sand, the water that although it was little dyed is a real spectacle that only nature can give us.
Las Salinas de las Cumaraguas is one of the sites that can not be missed in Falcon State and of high tourist interest for the above mentioned is somewhat captivating as the water is dyed red, my recommendation is that if you can go in the afternoon to not miss part of its beauty, once again I am happy to know a new place in my beloved Venezuela and this is a place that will also leave you breathless.

¡Buenos días amigos viajeros! Espero se encuentren muy bien y disfrutando de un rico viaje o descanso.
El estado Falcón es uno de mis favoritos en Venezuela porque posee diversos atractivos turísticos naturales entre ellos sus médanos y playas, continuando con la aventura de mi último viaje en compañía de mi hermana @noelyss y después de visitar el punto geográfico más el norte de mi país que es el Cabo San Román, volvimos al autobús para ahora conocer el segundo lugar pautado en el tour de la agencia de turismo, llamado: Las Salinas de Cumaraguas que se encuentran al noroeste de la Península de Paraguana, forma parte de las 200.000 hectáreas para la extracción de sal que posee el estado.
Después de recorrer algunos kilómetros llegamos hasta el sector de las Cumaraguas donde quedan ubicadas Las Salinas con el mismo nombre, con una belleza casi que indescriptible y sin igual, caminar por la orilla, mientras se observan como la escasa agua que poseen se torna de color rosado es realmente hermoso y aunque en ésta oportunidad no las pudimos ver teñidas de rojo porque eran aproximadamente las 8:00am lo cuál era muy temprano, una de las zonas estaba teñida en rosado claro y la otra con un celeste bastante cautivador.
La razón por la cuál las salinas se tiñen de color rosado y rojo es porque poseen una alga y que vive en altas concentraciones de salinidad y mientras más sol puedan recibir más notorio es su color, sin presencia del sol se visualizan de color celeste, para lograr verlas bien teñidas deben visitarse en horas del mediodía o la tarde.
Mientras caminábamos por las extensiones de arena podían verse los cúmulos de abundante sal, cabe resaltar que Las Salinas de Cumaraguas es una de las cinco salinas naturales que se encuentran en el estado y que su nombre proviene de un cangrejo que vive en la zona llamado: Cumaragua, me pareció bastante bastante fascinante como resaltaba el color blanco de la sal entre la arena gris, el agua que aunque estaba poco teñida es un verdadero espectáculo que sólo la naturaleza puede brindarnos.
Las Salinas de las Cumaraguas es uno de los sitios que no pueden dejarse de visitar en el Estado Falcón y de alto interés turístico por lo mencionado anteriormente es un tanto cautivador como se tiñe el agua de rojo, mi recomendación es que si pueden vayan por la tarde para no perderse parte de su belleza, una vez más me siento feliz por conocer un nuevo lugar en mi amada Venezuela y éste es un lugar que también los dejará sin aliento.
