Hello great pinmapple community, in this post I want to talk to you about one of my favorite places: Old Havana.
Named a cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO, Old Havana is the oldest area of the Cuban Capital and for me the most beautiful, it is a historical and architectural gem that attracts visitors from all over the world.
It is a true open-air museum, where you can appreciate the mixture of architectural styles ranging from Baroque to Neoclassical, through art nouveau and art deco. Strolling through its cobbled and narrow streets is like traveling back in time, where each building tells a different story.
Their colonial houses and balconies take you back to the 18th century, when women wore beautiful costumes and were always with a fan, and when there were those dances of society with classical music and formal education was mandatory and necessary.
On the other hand there is that rocky and currently modern Havana, because they have built many new hotels, but without losing the characteristic color of the city and its characteristic vintage style posters that have always caused me so much curiosity.
Many, including me, are very interested in the Capitiolio Habanero, which is a smaller replica of the original Capitol, which is located in Washington D.C. The photos do not do justice to this wonder of neoclassical style, the truth is beautiful, and honestly if you travel to Havana you can not stop passing by and filling your camera with photos, because it is incredible.
In short, Old Havana is a unique and fascinating experience that every traveler should live at least once in a lifetime. It is a place that represents the essence of Cuba and its rich culture, and that has managed to preserve its heritage and traditions over the years.
