Hello everyone, I hope you are well 🙂 I recently visited the Cité de l'Espace in Toulouse, where we paid 19.50 euros for each ticket. I went with my boyfriend and a couple of friends. As one of our friends is a university student, they accepted the student card, which saved us a lot of money. But, regardless of the price, I really wanted to visit the place! The experience was totally worth it, and I loved every moment of it. The atmosphere is incredible, and it's a perfect space to learn more about the universe and space exploration.
The museum is truly huge inside and full of fascinating details. One of the first spaces I explored was dedicated to the history of space exploration. They have a very interesting timeline that shows the most important moments of space travel. I found it very informative and well organized, with simple and clear explanations that anyone can understand.
One of the areas I liked most was the one that displays life-size replicas of spaceships. It's impressive to be able to see up close how these giant machines work. There are also models that show the interior of the ships, which made me feel closer to the astronauts. Being able to see what it was like to be inside a spaceship was a unique experience. The entire area is very well lit, and the explanations are short and direct, which makes it very easy to understand for those, like me, who are not experts on the subject.
Another part that really caught my attention was the section dedicated to the International Space Station (ISS). They recreated a life-size part of the station, giving us a sense of what it's like to live and work in the space. The exhibition shows how astronauts do everyday tasks, such as eating, sleeping and even practicing. I found the detail with which everything is presented very curious, which really makes us think about how life in space is different from Earth.
The museum also has an interactive area that I loved. We can experience what astronauts feel during a rocket launch. It's a kind of simulator, and it was one of the most fun parts of the visit. I felt butterflies in my stomach, but at the same time I was super excited! They carried out an experiment so realistic that it really feels like we are traveling to space. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes a bit of adventure!
Additionally, there are many information panels spread throughout the museum. They are simple to understand and available in multiple languages, which is great for anyone visiting forums from France. Each panel explains a little about planets, stars and even black holes. The most interesting thing is that you don't need to have much knowledge about space to understand what is written. They make science accessible to everyone, which made me feel super comfortable exploring the exhibits.
One of the exhibits that I found fascinating was about the Hubble telescope. They have an impressive replica of the telescope and several incredible images it has captured over the years. Seeing these images of galaxies and stars so far away was an experience that really made me think about the immensity of the universe. The museum does a great job of conveying this feeling of grandeur and mystery that the space brings to us.
In the center of the museum there is also a meteorite display. I had never seen a meteorite up close, and it was incredible to touch something that came from space. They have varying stones of different sizes and origins, and it is interesting to learn about how these objects arrive on Earth. Some of these stones are millions of years old, which made me reflect on how ancient and vast the universe is. This part of the museum is perfect for those who enjoy scientific curiosities.
Another part of the museum that I found super interesting was the area dedicated to the Apollo missions. They recreated the Moon's environment and even the command capsule that took the astronauts back to Earth. When walking through this area, you can see the complexity and danger of these missions. The explanations are simple, but they show the greatness and effort of those who worked to make these trips possible. Seeing the capsule that brought the astronauts back up close is impressive and makes you think about how technology has evolved.
Something that was very different was the area dedicated to astronaut training. They have a series of machines and videos that show how astronauts prepare physically and mentally for space missions. It is a very interactive and educational part, where we can learn about the rigorous training process that astronauts go through. I was very impressed by the effort required to withstand the extreme conditions of space.

Olá a todos, espero que estejam bem 🙂 Visitei recentemente a Cité de l'Espace em Toulouse, onde pagamos 19,50 euros por cada bilhete. Fui com meu namorado e alguns amigos. Como um dos nossos amigos é estudante universitário, aceitaram o cartão de estudante, o que nos poupou muito dinheiro. Mas, independente do preço, eu queria muito conhecer o lugar! A experiência valeu totalmente a pena e adorei cada momento. A atmosfera é incrível e é um espaço perfeito para aprender mais sobre o universo e a exploração espacial.
O museu é verdadeiramente enorme por dentro e cheio de detalhes fascinantes. Um dos primeiros espaços que explorei foi dedicado à história da exploração espacial. Eles têm uma linha do tempo muito interessante que mostra os momentos mais importantes das viagens espaciais. Achei muito informativo e bem organizado, com explicações simples e claras que qualquer um consegue entender.
Uma das áreas que mais gostei foi aquela que exibe réplicas de naves espaciais em tamanho real. É impressionante poder ver de perto como funcionam essas máquinas gigantes. Outra parte que realmente me chamou a atenção foi a seção dedicada à Estação Espacial Internacional (ISS). Eles recriaram uma parte da estação em tamanho real, dando-nos uma ideia de como é viver e trabalhar naquele espaço. A exposição mostra como os astronautas realizam tarefas cotidianas, como comer, dormir e até praticar. Achei muito curioso o detalhe com que tudo é apresentado, o que realmente nos faz pensar em como a vida no espaço é diferente da Terra.
O museu também tem uma área interativa que adorei. Podemos experimentar o que os astronautas sentem durante o lançamento de um foguete. É uma espécie de simulador e foi uma das partes mais divertidas da visita. Senti um friozinho na barriga, mas ao mesmo tempo fiquei super animada! Eles realizaram um experimento tão realista que realmente parece que estamos viajando para o espaço. Recomendo fortemente para quem gosta de um pouco de aventura!
Além disso, existem diversos painéis informativos espalhados pelo museu. Eles são simples de entender e estão disponíveis em vários idiomas, o que é ótimo para quem visita fóruns na França. Cada painel explica um pouco sobre planetas, estrelas e até buracos negros. O mais interessante é que não é preciso ter muito conhecimento sobre espaço para entender o que está escrito. Eles tornam a ciência acessível a todos, o que me deixou super confortável para explorar as exposições.
Uma das exposições que achei fascinante foi sobre o telescópio Hubble. Eles têm uma réplica impressionante do telescópio e várias imagens incríveis capturadas ao longo dos anos.
