Hello everyone, I hope you are well! During my vacation in the Azores, I decided to visit Ponta Delgada. One day, at dusk, I went to the marina, as they told me it was a very beautiful place to watch the sunset. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the view of the sea with the sky changing color was incredible. I took the opportunity to relax and enjoy the moment. If you go to the Azores sometime before, I highly recommend taking a walk around the marina at the end of the day!
During my visit to Ponta Delgada, I decided to explore the city's famous marina. I heard great things about this place and wanted to see its beauty up close. I arrived late in the afternoon, when the sun was already lower, and the scenery was stunning. The light reflects on the sea, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for those looking for a moment of peace.
The marina is the perfect place for a calm stroll, with the sea breeze accompanying you. The horizon, with boats and sailboats in the background, added a special touch to the landscape. People of all ages passed by, some walking slowly, others sitting on benches to enjoy the view. It was easy to see why Ponta Delgada marina is very popular with visitors.
While walking around the marina, I noticed several interesting drawings on the floor. One of them particularly caught my attention: it was a representation of a coin with the inscription “Bitcoin”. It was curious to see a reference to cryptocurrencies in such a traditional place as a marina. These details on the floor show how modern and traditional can be harmoniously mixed.
Continuing my walk, I noticed how the marina was very well looked after and organized. The flowers that decorated the path added color to the environment and contrasted with the intense blue of the sea. The smell of the sea was refreshing, and the sound of the waves gently hitting the boats created a natural melody, which helped to relax even more.
There was an incredible diversity of boats docked at the marina, from small fishing boats to luxury boats. Each one had its own story and contributed to the beauty of the place. Some were ready to go, while others were supposed to just rest, as if they were an integral part of the scenery.
At the end of the marina, I found a small cafe, ideal for those who want to have a drink while enjoying the landscape. The chairs facing the sea allow everyone to enjoy the magnificent view. I decided to sit down for a few minutes and drink a coffee as the sun continued to sink below the horizon.
As the sun disappeared, the light began to change. The sky was painted with other cores, creating a magical effect on the water. I felt truly special to be in that place, at that moment. Every second felt more special than the last, and the calm of the place made it all the more memorable.
Ponta Delgada marina also has a modern feel, with several shops and restaurants nearby. The contrast between the natural environment and modern infrastructure is well balanced, creating a space where visitors can enjoy the best of both worlds. Whether for sightseeing, dining or just relaxing, there is something for everyone.
I saw that francesinha existed and took the opportunity to try a famous francesinha in a local restaurant. Although I was curious to see what their version would be like, I confess that it wasn't as Chinese as the one in Porto, where I live. The combination of flavors didn't win me over in the same way, and I miss that special touch that I only find in my city. Still, it was an interesting experience, but for Francesinha, nothing like Porto!
At the end of the day, the marina starts to turn on its lights, illuminating the path for those who still want to continue the tour. The mix of artificial lights with the glow of the sea creates an enchanting scene. When I left the marina, I felt renewed and wanted to return. It is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.

Olá a todos, espero que estejam bem! Durante as minhas férias nos Açores, decidi visitar Ponta Delgada. Um dia, ao anoitecer, fui à marina, pois me disseram que era um local muito bonito para ver o pôr do sol. O ambiente era tranquilo e a vista do mar com o céu mudando de cor era incrível. Aproveitei para relaxar e aproveitar o momento. Se for aos Açores algum dia antes, recomendo vivamente que no final do dia dê um passeio pela marina!
Durante a minha visita a Ponta Delgada decidi explorar a famosa marina da cidade. Ouvi ótimas coisas sobre esse lugar e queria ver sua beleza de perto. Cheguei no final da tarde, quando o sol já estava mais baixo e a paisagem era deslumbrante. A luz reflecte-se no mar, criando um ambiente tranquilo e relaxante, ideal para quem procura um momento de paz.
A marina é o local perfeito para um passeio tranquilo, acompanhado pela brisa marítima. O horizonte, com barcos e veleiros ao fundo, deu um toque especial à paisagem. Passavam pessoas de todas as idades, algumas caminhando lentamente, outras sentadas em bancos para apreciar a vista. Foi fácil perceber porque é que a marina de Ponta Delgada é tão popular entre os visitantes.
Enquanto caminhava pela marina, notei vários desenhos interessantes no chão. Um deles me chamou particularmente a atenção: era a representação de uma moeda com a inscrição “Bitcoin”. Foi curioso ver uma referência às criptomoedas num local tão tradicional como uma marina. Esses detalhes no piso mostram como o moderno e o tradicional podem se misturar harmoniosamente.
Continuando a caminhada, notei como a marina estava muito bem cuidada e organizada. As flores que decoravam o caminho deram cor ao ambiente e contrastaram com o azul intenso do mar. O cheiro do mar era refrescante, e o som das ondas batendo suavemente nos barcos criava uma melodia natural, que ajudava a relaxar ainda mais.
Havia uma diversidade incrível de barcos atracados na marina, desde pequenos barcos de pesca até barcos de luxo. Cada um teve sua história e contribuiu para a beleza do lugar. Alguns estavam prontos para partir, enquanto outros deveriam apenas descansar, como se fossem parte integrante do cenário.
No final da marina encontrei um pequeno café, ideal para quem quer tomar uma bebida enquanto aprecia a paisagem. As cadeiras viradas para o mar permitem que todos possam desfrutar da magnífica vista. Decidi sentar por alguns minutos e tomar um café enquanto o sol continuava a se pôr no horizonte.
À medida que o sol desapareceu, a luz começou a mudar. O céu foi pintado com outros núcleos, criando um efeito mágico na água. Eu me senti verdadeiramente especial por estar naquele lugar, naquele momento. Cada segundo parecia mais especial que o anterior, e a calma do lugar tornou tudo ainda mais memorável.
A marina de Ponta Delgada também tem um ambiente moderno, com diversas lojas e restaurantes nas proximidades. O contraste entre o ambiente natural e as infra-estruturas modernas é bem equilibrado, criando um espaço onde os visitantes podem desfrutar do melhor dos dois mundos. Seja para passear, jantar ou simplesmente relaxar, há algo para todos.
Vi que existia francesinha e aproveitei para experimentar uma francesinha famosa num restaurante local. Embora estivesse curioso para ver como seria a versão deles, confesso que não era tão chinesa como a do Porto, onde moro. A combinação de sabores não me conquistou da mesma forma, e sinto falta daquele toque especial que só encontro na minha cidade. Mesmo assim foi uma experiência interessante, mas francesinha nada como o Porto!
No final do dia, a marina começa a acender as luzes, iluminando o caminho para quem ainda quiser continuar o passeio. A mistura de luzes artificiais com o brilho do mar cria um cenário encantador. Quando saí da marina, senti-me renovado e com vontade de voltar. É, sem dúvida, um dos lugares mais bonitos que já visitei.
