Hello, hope you're all well ☺️ I'm back at the Cité de l'Espace in Toulouse to talk about the exterior of the museum. In my last post, I couldn't say everything. Here, we can see replicas of spaceships and other interesting spaces. The outdoor area is interactive and a lot of fun. There are panels and exhibitions that help you better understand space exploration. The architecture is beautiful and creates a pleasant atmosphere. Today, I will show you more details about the exterior of the museum.
On my last trip to the Cité de l'Espace in Toulouse, I started by exploring the exterior of the museum. As soon as I arrived, I was left with replicas of spacecraft, especially the Soyuz. Seeing the ship up close made me realize how incredible the technology that allows space exploration is. Next to it, there was a large 3D model of the Earth, which I couldn't help but photograph. The information about the atmosphere and climate change was fascinating and helped me understand our planet better.
The exterior exhibits were equally impressive. There were satellites and probes with developed information about their missions. Each panel I read brought new information about important discoveries. I was surprised by the contribution of these satellites to science. The way the models presented became even more interesting. Many people stopped, absorbing the knowledge and discussing the information with friends and family. This part of the visit really expanded my understanding of the importance of space research and how it affects our everyday lives.
Next to the Soyuz was a large 3D model of the Earth. It was impressive to see the representation of our planet up close. The model had incredible details and many visitors stopped to take photos. In addition, there were information panels that explained about the atmosphere and climate change. This interaction was very educational and interesting. I learned a lot about the challenges our planet faces. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing, and I took the opportunity to reflect on everything I was learning while admiring the beauty of the place.
While walking, I came across an astronaut dressed in a full suit and backpack. It was an exciting experience to see it up close. The suit was very detailed and this helped to better understand how astronauts prepare for their missions. Many children were delighted and took photos with him. Interacting with the “astronaut” brought space exploration closer to all of us. The atmosphere was full of laughter and enthusiasm, and his presence made the visit even more memorable. This part of the visit made me dream even more about traveling to space.
Afterwards, I arrived at an interactive area where I could try out gravity simulations. This activity was very popular with visitors, and I was eager to participate. The feeling of floating was incredible and made me feel like a real astronaut. The explanations of how gravity related to the human body were fascinating. Seeing people's reasons for experiencing the simulation was contagious. This hands-on interaction became a much more fun and educational visit. I came away from this experience with a new appreciation for the challenges female astronauts face in space.
The outdoor space at the Cité de l'Espace is also great for stocking. Many bring snacks and equipment to relax between attractions. I saw several families spread out across the lawns, laughing and sharing moments. The weather was pleasant, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The surrounding tables and benches provided a comfortable space to rest. It was a great moment to reflect on everything I had seen so far. The combination of science and nature created a perfect environment to spend the day. I feel grateful to be there, learning and having fun.
One of the coolest parts of the exterior was the space station model. He showed how astronauts live and work in orbit. Seeing the structure and its components in full size was incredible. Information about missions carried out at the station was also available. I spent a lot of time exploring every detail and learning about life in space.
