Last year ,i can't recall the exact date but in the month of july ,me and my friends decided to go to some place to spend the summer vacation as it was the last year of our graduation and we decided to spend the time together ..After a lot of discussion and considering everyone's opinion ,we decided to go to a beautiful place namely BANGUS VALLEY in kupwara district in north KASHMIR .After collecting all the necessary things for the trip we set off for the trip in one of my friends SUV very early in the morning at about 5:00am ,as the place is far away from our district about 150kms and that too a hilly terrain.
After spending a lot of time in the vehicle about 5 hours,we eventually reached the place at about 10 am and were more surprised to hear that we were required to move about 3 kms on foot to reach the valley as the valley has no road connection ,and were a bit disappointed as we were already tired.so we started the next phase of our journey on foot and we enjoyed it as well and was fun altogether because of some humorous friends we had with us on the trip ..
Eventually we reached the place after walking for more than an hour and believe me,when i saw the first sight i was mesmerised and was almost spellbound, couldn't utter a single word except "wow"....

Walking in the valley is a pleasure as the land is so soft and damp that when we place our foot somewhere it makes an impression and leaves marks on the ground more like walking on a carpet.

The valley is very vast and has an area of about 625km² and in order to see the most part of the valley ,horse ride is the best option and i got an opportunity to ride a horse for the first time in my life and i was so excited about it ....

We spent the whole day roaming in the valley ,noticing almost every beauty and admiring the nature but we were also disheartened by seeing one portion of the valley where we found some wrappers scattered on the ground (done by some irresponsible and uncivilized people )and me and my friends decided to collect those items and put them in a bag and then dropped these wrappers ina nearby dustbin ...and thus contributed in keeping our valley clean and pollution free...

After spending the whole day in the valley,we decided to move back towards our place because there were no hotels in the area to live in as we had decided earlier to spend a day or two in the valley .Thus leaving the valley with some disappointed faces because we couldn't spend a night there .we reached home late in the evening and i still remember i couldn't sleep the whole night because i wanted to stay awake and memorise the beautiful scenes of the valley .....
I wish i could spend a night in the valley and see how the sun rises and how it sets in the valley ... could have been totally different experience...
I at last invite everyone to my place ,to this beautiful place of the world ,Kashmir, also known by the name SWITZERLAND OF ASIA and give me an opportunity of hospitality and i am sure you after visiting the place will not only admire the beauty but the warmth shown by the people as well. Kashmiri people are so helpful and kind that we have set an example throughout the world ....
Thank you and love you all
