When I was 12, I used to hear my aunties talking about their vacation trip to a beautiful island. One of my aunties said it was the most beautiful island that she had visited. Out of curiosity, I asked them what Island are they talking about? and they answered: We are talking about Malapascua island.
Since that moment, Malapascua has always been on top of the list of my go-to places in the future.
I got so excited when I read news on Facebook saying, Malapascua island is now accepting tourists after a few months of lockdown, so without any doubt, I and my boyfriend booked 3 days and 2 nights there.
My boyfriend and I had a 4 hour land travel and 40 minutes boat ride. We were both exhausted because of how time consuming the travel was, but when we looked at the port of Malapascua, you can already see how Beautiful the place is. Malapascua island is just a very small island, you can visit all parts of the island in just few hours.
The first thing that we did when we arrived at the island was Snorkeling. We rented a small boat for snorkeling and the people who assisted us are very accommodating and funny. We first visited the corals of Malapascua and it is very stunning, I enjoyed it a lot. We also visited the Japanese shipwreck nearby. We ended our first day in the island with a delicious sea-food meal. That`s where we met Jonel and he helped us book a trip for island hopping.
The second day of our trip was the most unforgettable one because we were able to visit 2 islands in just one day. The first island that we visited was the Carnaza island which was 40 minutes away from Malapascua. Carnaza island is purely untouched and mesmerizing. This island is very private and you can only see few people there, which means you got all the island for yourself. The white cottages in the island looks very unique and cute for photos.
Who would`ve thought that we would get in to the area of Masbate in this trip. The island that you see is called La manok island. This island is a bit rocky but a real beauty. You can hear the sound of the waves encountering each other and the very clear water made it more beautiful.
After the island hopping, we finally spent our last day in North beach Malapascua which was 10 minutes motorcycle ride from our stay. The North beach sand was undoubtedly the best plus the clear blue water was incredible. No wonder why my aunties called this place as the best Place that they have ever visited. Because it is really a little slice of heaven. I am so lucky that I was able to visit Malapascua and I`ll make sure to come back one day and enjoy the other wonders in it.
That's all for now, hivers; I hope you enjoyed the beautiful sights of these Islands. Till my next trip!
