Hello, friends. I want to tell you about a beautiful place I visited for the first time recently. It is the Mirador del Valle de los Ingenios, a beautiful place in the Loma del Puerto that is on the side of the road that takes me from my home to Trinidad. I had passed by this place on many other occasions, but as it is very frequented by tourists, I was a little embarrassed to get there.

This special place is located between the entrance of the city and the Valle de los Ingenios, and I must tell you that it is a real wonder. From this point, you can have incredible views of the surrounding nature and the Valley itself, which was witness of sugar cane plantations and sugar mills for centuries, having its greatest boom mainly in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

The tranquility that one breathes at the Mirador is priceless. It is as if the hustle and bustle of the city were left behind. It is a perfect place to disconnect from the daily stress and simply enjoy the moment and the beauty that surrounds the place. I was able to sit back, relax and just enjoy.

The only drawback I found in this place was the lack of variety in the drinks. I could only find a few types of rum and beers. I would have loved to have more options to accompany the experience, perhaps, some margaritas or cubalibre. Although, to be fair, with the views offered by this place, I almost forgot that I was left wanting a drink.

The most curious thing is that, from the Mirador, in addition to the unparalleled views of nature, you can still see an old mill and a large house, unfortunately I can not share the photos because you can only see it through the telescope.

Here there is a small place where we can sit under the trees. Where we can see a handmade trapiche, although it is not used to make guarapo.

I completely fell in love with this place, and I am making plans to come back with my family another time. I want them to also enjoy the experience that the Mirador del Valle de los Ingenios offers. There is no doubt that it will be a delightful destination for anyone.
