So today I will take you to one of the favorite tourist destinations of both people from Cagayan de Oro and from other places. So every time we will have visitors from various provinces they really find time to visit this wonderful place.

Presenting to you Amaya View and Hugo Sky Lounge in Indahag Hills, Cagayan de Oro City

I’ve been in this place twice already, first was in 2018 and had the chance to visit it again just few weeks ago. If not because of the pandemic which restricts us to freely go somewhere maybe I already been there a lot of times already.

Yes, I can say that once you’ve visited this place you will surely long to visit it more often, especially now when they added more amenities which will give one an exciting and memorable stay.

Have you seen the news about that old man who was bitten by a crocodile? You may check the news below, it actually happen in this place.

Amaya View

This is located at the highest peak of Cagayan De Oro, Amaya View gives its guests not only a breathtaking view of the city but also a one-stop destination in the Skye!

The following are some of their exciting and stunning amenities/destination within the area:

  • Noah's Ark
  • Amaya's Kitchen
  • Larry's Hill
  • Azul Infinity Pool
  • The Rock Chapel See less

Now they also have this Hobit house where the visitors can stay overnight. I know it would be very nice to stay there even for just one night. This is one thing that I should try sometime. We live nearby and that’s somehow the reason why until now I didn’t try it yet. But maybe soon! Of course with the whole family.

One thing that will really attract the attention of every single guest is their giant aquarium. Well. I really don’t know what they call it, but since such a pool contains hundreds of koi fish, (not really sure of the name) I call it a giant aquarium. It is a size of an ordinary pool, but it is not intended for quests to have a swim for it is literally full of colorful fishes.

I really love to stay in this area. I enjoyed watching those beautiful fishes, not to mention that it is also located at the top part of the hill, so you can see a wonderful view down there. It may be hot since there was no roof or shade in that part but still it's one good place to relax.

Another new feature they added is the Skye Walk, it’s a hanging bridge that connects directly to the Noah’s Ark and the hobit house. This is the newest attraction in Amaya View with a length of 165 meters and a height of 150 feet.

RATE

For two hundred pesos one can access Noah’s Ark, Sky Walk Hanging Bridge, and that includes the main entrance. The same can also be accessed by kids but with a 50 pesos discount. A regular wristband is also available for 50 pesos. With that rate, I can say it’s very affordable indeed.

This is actually one of the first few features they have which is the kid's favorite, I’m sure they won’t miss visiting and playing here first before going to another area of Amaya View. Finally, this place can also be a good venue for team building seminars, they also have a number of restaurants with absolutely delicious foods, a catholic church chapel, and a lot more.

Whether or not I will recommend this place? Absolutely!

All photos are mine.

KEEP SAFE AND GOD BLESS!
