Hello, friends. Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit Ciego de Avila, a province in the center of Cuba. This was my first time in this place. Although I did not spend as much time as I would have liked, I was only there for about two hours in the late afternoon, I can tell you that it was an incredible experience.

The thing that most caught my attention was the José Martí Park. It is right in the heart of the city and it is a beautiful place. There was a great atmosphere, I enjoyed the weather and the beauty of the place. In which you can appreciate some emblematic constructions of the colonial era. I would have loved to explore it more, but time was not on my side.
Another thing that left me wanting more was a museum I saw on one side of this park. Unfortunately, I arrived late and it was already closed. But hey, at least I have an excuse to go back.

Afterwards, I passed by a place called "The Turbine". It's like a lake or a dam, I'm not really sure, but it was inside a park and it's very quiet and relaxing. I loved the vibe it offers and besides, it is isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Ciego de Avila left me with a good feeling and I am sure it has much more to offer. I was left wanting to explore more, so I definitely want to go back someday and spend more time getting to know the city and its surroundings. I have to schedule a day to enjoy this city, which left me with very pleasant sensations.
