Hi HIVEians! I hope you’re doing great. As I explained in this post, I want to share with you my traveling dream, which is to know at least one place in each province of my country Argentina. Today I’m going to tell you a little about a trip I made to the San Luis province.
¡Hola amigos de HIVE! ¡Espero que estén bien! Como expliqué en este post, quiero compartir con ustedes mi sueño viajero que es conocer al menos un lugar de todas las provincias de mi país Argentina. Hoy voy a contarles un poco sobre un viaje que hice a la provincia de San Luis.
We went to the locality of Villa Larca, precisely to the Chorro de San Ignacio Tourist Complex. This consists of a campsite at the foot of the mountains from where there is access to them.
Fuimos a la localidad de Villa Larca, precisamente al Complejo Turístico Chorro de San Ignacio. Este consiste en un camping al pie de las sierras desde donde hay acceso a ellas.
I did this trip as part of a student's camp when I was in college. That camp lasted a week and was attended by more than 400 college students from across the country. This activity is done annually in the month of January. The student camp has an incredible organization: the first day groups were randomly formed and the collective tasks were distributed: preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner, washing dishes, organizing games, all for the 400 people who went! We took turns between everyone and the camp worked perfectly. A week of pure socialization. We woke up early in the morning, in the afternoons we enjoyed the day walking around the campsite or using the facilities, and in the nights we had some parties. Very funny!
Hice este paseo en el marco de un campamento para estudiantes cuando estaba en la Universidad. Ese campamento duró una semana y asistieron más de 400 estudiantes universitarios de todo el país. Esta actividad se hace anualmente en el mes de Enero. El campamento de estudiantes tiene una organización increíble: el primer día se armaban grupos al azar y se repartían las tareas colectivas: preparar desayunos, almuerzo y cena, lavar platos, organizar juegos, ¡todo para las 400 personas que fuimos! Nos turnamos entre todos y el campamento funcionó perfectamente. Una semana de pura sociabilización. Nos despertamos temprano en la mañana, por las tardes disfrutamos el día recorriendo los alrededores del camping o usando las instalaciones y por las noches hacíamos algunas fiestas. ¡Muy divertido!
Regarding the landscape, Villa Larca has a lot of vegetation and numerous waterfalls, with trails to go through. The main attraction is the Chorro de San Ignacio, a waterfall of approximately 20 meters that falls over a lagoon. In all these bodies of water you can bathe: the water is warm and transparent. If you walk up the path, you can reach natural balconies with beautiful views to spend the day. A very nice place to go to know!
Con respecto al paisaje, Villa Larca tiene mucha vegetación y numerosos saltos de agua, con senderos para recorrer. El principal atractivo es el Chorro de San Ignacio, un salto de agua de aproximadamente 20 metros que cae sobre una laguna.. En todos estos cuerpos de agua puedes bañarte: el agua es cálida y transparente. Si caminas sendero arriba, podes llegar a balcones naturales con hermosas vistas para pasar el día. ¡Un lugar muy lindo para ir a conocer!
And in case you have noticed a little low quality in these photos, I will tell you that I did this trip in 2014, and these were the cell phones that were handled at that time. 😂
