The days that we had to go for a walk could not have been better. And it is that in reality we had calculated everything: we were attentive to the weather forecast but there is always the probability that it is wrong. Luckily, this was not the case and we had the promised weather: lots of sun and some clouds that allowed us to see the most beautiful landscapes we had ever seen. One of them was the port of Bahía Brava in Villa La Angostura, province of Neuquén ❤️.
Los días que nos tocaron para ir a pasear no podrían haber sido mejores. Y es que en realidad lo habíamos calculado todo: estuvimos atentos al pronóstico del tiempo pero siempre está la probabilidad de que se equivoque. Por suerte, este no fue el caso y tuvimos el clima prometido: mucho sol y algunas nubes que nos permitieron conocer los paisajes más hermosos que hayamos visto. Uno de ellos fue el puerto de Bahía Brava en Villa La Angostura, provincia de Neuquén ❤️.
I must say that the visit to the Nahuel Huapi Lake viewpoint left very high expectations regarding the next landscape we would see, but we still had a lot to learn about this place. The south of Argentina is all beautiful and I think that each landscape surpasses itself. It is understandable that this destination is visited by thousands of tourists every year, it is really worth coming to see it ❤️.
Debo decir que la visita al mirador del Lago Nahuel Huapi dejó las expectativas muy altas con respecto al siguiente paisaje que veríamos, pero aún nos quedaba mucho por conocer de este sitio. El sur de Argentina es todo hermoso y creo que cada paisaje se supera a sí mismo. Es entendible que este destino sea visitado por miles de turistas cada año, realmente vale la pena venir a conocerlo ❤️.
In total, from San Martín de Los Andes to this place we traveled a little more than 100 km passing through the Route of the Seven Lakes and making some intermediate stops at different viewpoints. The good thing about this whole area is that each journey to go from one city to another is a walk in itself, so there is no waste 😃.
En total, desde San Martín de Los Andes hasta este lugar recorrimos un poco más de 100 km pasando por la Ruta de Los Siete Lagos y haciendo algunas paradas intermedias en distintos miradores. Lo bueno que tiene toda esta zona es que cada trayecto para ir de una ciudad a otra es un paseo en sí, entonces no hay ningún desperdicio 😃.

Different boats arrive from this port that make excursions through the entire Nahuel Huapi Lake, the most famous being the Bosque de los Arrayanes. Unfortunately we didn't have time to do this and we didn't have that much money because they aren't cheap at all, but at least we were able to enjoy the shoreline of the bay a bit 😅.
Desde este puerto arriban distintas embarcaciones que realizan excursiones a través de todo el lago Nahuel Huapi, siendo la más famosa la del Bosque de los Arrayanes. Desafortunadamente no teníamos tiempo para hacer esto ni tanto dinero porque no son nada económicas, pero al menos pudimos disfrutar un poco de la costa de la bahía 😅.
Although the south is mainly a winter destination due to its snowy landscapes, its landscapes can be enjoyed all year round. We went in the middle of January and every day it was more than 25°C. This was warm enough to take a dip in those tempting crystal clear waters, however, don't forget that this entire lake is of glacial origin so the water is quite frozen 😅.
A pesar de que el sur es un destino principalmente de invierno por sus paisajes nevados, sus paisajes se pueden disfrutar todo el año. Nosotros fuimos en pleno Enero y todos los días hacían más de 25°C. Esto era suficiente calor como para darse un chapuzón en esas tentadoras aguas cristalinas, sin embargo, no hay que olvidar que todo este lago es de origen glaciar por lo que el agua es bastante congelada 😅.
What amazed me about this place is that a panoramic view is necessary to understand that everything corresponds to the same landscape. I mean if we looked to the sides there were green waters and mountains full of trees, but looking at the bottom we saw a deep blue lake with rocky mountains and some snowy peaks. Could all these elements coexist in a single landscape? Sure, here in this beautiful bay ❤️.
Lo que me dejó maravillada de este lugar es que es necesario una vista panorámica para entender que todo corresponde al mismo paisaje. Me refiero a que si veíamos a los lados había aguas verdes y montañas llenas de árboles, pero al ver al fondo veíamos un lago azul profundo con montañas rocosas y algunos picos nevados. ¿Podrían coexistir todos estos elementos en un único paisaje? Claro que sí, aquí en esta hermosa bahía ❤️.

By then it was close to 2 PM and our stomachs were demanding something for lunch. This whole area is a city, so there were several businesses to buy food and getting it was not a problem. Generally, when I go to a place, I am already satisfied for having been there, but Villa La Angostura is a place I would return to without hesitation. And indeed I decree it now, I will return ❤️.
Para entonces ya eran cerca de las 2 PM y nuestros estómagos nos estaban demandando algo para almorzar. Toda esta área es una ciudad, por lo que habían varios negocios para comprar comida y conseguirla no fue un problema. Generalmente cuando voy a un lugar ya me quedo satisfecha por haber estado allí, pero Villa La Angostura es un lugar al que volvería sin dudarlo. Y de hecho lo decreto ahora, volveré ❤️.
