Hello dear friends!
I'm glad to see you again in today's new post. Another week has passed, what do people usually do at the weekend? In the previous article, Khoa introduced to everyone, an article about the tourism overview of Da Nang city. In the old article, there are many shortcomings that Khoa has not mentioned. In today's new article, Khoa would like to share with everyone a very interesting place in Da Nang city, which is a bridge in Da Nang. As you all know, in the previous post, Khoa mentioned the bridges of Da Nang city. Then today Khoa will write about one of those bridges. Many people may mistakenly think that the Han River has a total of 9 bridges, but actually, there are only 6 bridges on the Han River, because the Han River is the last branch of the Thu Bon River. The Han River will start from two tributaries of Cau Do and Do Toa Rivers, these two tributaries will intersect at the first bridge of the Han River, which is the Tien Son Bridge. Then will turn to the bridges such as Tran Thi Ly Bridge, Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, Dragon Bridge, Han River Bridge and the last bridge of the Han River before emptying into the sea, that is Thuan Phuoc Bridge. Each bridge of the Han River has an impressive design with special functions and each bridge is a favourite place when tourists visit Da Nang. But the most important thing is that the bridges help connect between Son Tra peninsula and the centre of Da Nang city quickly. I still remember more than 20 years ago, when there were only two bridges on this Han river, the Nguyen Van Troi bridge and Trinh Minh The bridge. Nguyen Van Troi bridge is now used as a pedestrian bridge, while Trinh Minh The bridge has been rebuilt and renamed Tran Thi Ly bridge. At that time, it can be said that the transportation system connecting the Son Tra peninsula and Da Nang city centre was circulated through these two bridges. These two bridges are located far from the city centre to the west, so traffic between the peninsula and Da Nang city centre is always difficult. At that time, there were many ferry terminals on the Han River, which would bring people and vehicles to the other side of the Han River. From 1998 to 2013, Da Nang city transformed. Developed from a city with a limited transportation system, has turned into the most dynamic young city in the region. During this time, he had great merit in changing the transport infrastructure of Da Nang city. That is the party secretary of Da Nang city, Mr Nguyen Ba Thanh. The construction of many bridges on the Han River has helped promote Da Nang's transport infrastructure in a developing way. Following that, Da Nang's tourism industry also developed very strongly during this period.
Today's weekend post Khoa would like to share with everyone one of the 6 bridges of the Han River, which is the Dragon Bridge in Da Nang. In this article, there are some photos taken by Khoa over the years. Da Nang Dragon Bridge has started construction in 2009, put into use on the occasion of the 38th anniversary, after the liberation of Da Nang city. This is also the 6th and last bridge built on the Han River. Dragon Bridge has a total of 4 spans, on the bridge, there will be 6 traffic lanes. In the middle of the bridge, engineers designed a yellow dragon, the design idea of the dragon was taken from the Ly Dynasty. In the history of Vietnamese art, the dragon is the embodiment of the quintessence, the power and strength in the four spirits "Long, Ly, Quy, and Phung". Looking from above you can observe the highlight of the golden colour of the Dragon. Dragon Bridge Da Nang will link between Hai Chau and Son Tra districts. From Da Nang Airport, you can follow Nguyen Van Linh Street and go up to Da Nang Dragon Bridge, to reach the tourist beaches of Son Tra peninsula. Located next to the Dragon Bridge is a statue of a carp turning into a dragon and a bridge of love, this is one of the places that attract tourists on the weekend.
When night falls, which is also the most beautiful time of the romantic Han River, the street lights of Da Nang city will be lit up. I took many photos of the Dragon Bridge at night, from many different angles. Afternoon at a golden hour from 18:00 is the best time to take pictures, maybe you will stand from tall buildings to take pictures of Dragon Bridge, or stand around near Dragon Bridge. If shooting with a camera, you need to have a tripod to capture the beautiful moment so that the photo is not blurred.
If tourists come to Da Nang to visit on the weekend, surely people should not miss the time frame at 21:00. Every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm, the dragon bridge will perform with fire and water spray displays. During this weekend, I also came here to take pictures and write a new article today. You can see people coming here very early. Everyone will gather at the riverbank on Tran Hung Dao Street to observe the Dragon Bridge better. You can also stand on the lane of Dragon Bridge Da Nang, standing on the bridge you can feel the shimmering beauty of the poetic Han River. While the Dragon Bridge spits fire and sprays water, the traffic will stop flowing through the Dragon Bridge.
When the clock starts to show only 21 o'clock, it is also the time when the Dragon Bridge begins to perform fire-breathing. Dragon Bridge will spray fire 2 times, each time there will be 6 fire spans. At the water spray screen, it will be sprayed 3 times, if standing near the Dragon bridge when the dragon sprays water, you should limit standing close. There are a lot of people standing in front of the Dragon's head and when the water spray gets wet, I have an experience for you, you should stand behind the dragon's head or 200m away to avoid getting wet due to the dragon spraying water. . After the fire and water spray shows of the dragon bridge, all visitors will start going home, the roads will be very crowded and traffic jams. Looking at these photos, you can see that Vietnam's traffic system is quite complicated. You may wonder why Vietnamese people use a lot of cameras. To prevent people from buying cars, the Vietnamese government has applied special consumption taxes, so that cars have a selling price 2 to 3 times higher than the company's proposed price. Because of this, when you come to Vietnam, you will see that Vietnamese people use motorbikes a lot, if you come to Vietnam to travel, would you dare to try once to drive in Vietnam? I think this is difficult for many people 😀
