Today is the weekend, in the past few days, Da Nang tourism has just received the good news that the Ba Na Hill eco-tourism area has started to operate again, after more than 1 year of closure because of the epidemic. Covid broke out in Vietnam. A week ago I had an article of mine, about the architecture of the Golden bridge of Ba Na Hill tourist area. In the post that day I was very happy to be mentioned in the top 3 of the Haveyoubeenhere community. It is these motivations that, in today's article, I will continue to write about new places of the most famous eco-tourism area in Da Nang. In my previous article, I wrote about the process of each tourist when setting foot on the top of Ba Na mountain, each visitor will have to take a cable car from the foot of the mountain to reach the top of Ba Na mountain. There are many beautiful places for tourists to visit. Ba Na Hill eco-tourism area is a favourite place of all tourists when they have the opportunity to visit Da Nang city. Because it is located at an altitude of nearly 1500m above sea level, the year-round temperature of Ba Na mountain is always cool. Coming to Ba Na tourist area, you will enjoy the fresh air of the mountain top here, in addition, this place is also one of the leading entertainment areas in Vietnam. On the top of Ba Na mountain, there are many interesting places that I would like to introduce to everyone. In my today's post, I would like to introduce to everyone a temple located on the top of Ba Na mountain and a flower garden on the way to this temple.
This temple is called Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda, surely everyone will be surprised because I previously wrote an article about a Linh Ung pagoda. Da Nang city has three pagodas named Linh Ung, but each temple is located in a different location. If the east of Da Nang city has a temple called Linh Ung Bai, the southern area of Da Nang has Linh Ung Non-Nuoc pagoda. In the northwest area of Da Nang city, in Ba Na Hill tourist area, there is a Linh Ung pagoda called Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda. It can be said that Linh Ung Ba Na temple is located at the highest altitude among the temples of Da Nang. This temple is located at an altitude of 1200m above sea level, if visitors visit Ba Na golden bridge, surely people will easily see a rather large statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, located close to the tree. Golden Bridge here. To come to this temple, all visitors will have to go to the flower garden area of Le Jardin D'Amou Ba Na Hills. Because the flower garden here is located at an altitude of 1200m, when the climate is cool all year round, it is planted with many famous flowers of the world and Vietnam. The flowers must be mentioned such as hydrangea, tulip, lavender, in addition to the above flowers, there are many other beautiful flowers. Each unique flower will be planted at each festival of the year. Every year in February and March, there will be a Tulip festival, until May and June are the time when the hydrangea flowers bloom, and the Lavender flowers are bloomed all year round here. If you are a lover of flowers, then you should not miss this place.
At Le Jardin D'Amou Ba Na Hills Peace Garden, there are 9 gardens, each with a different style. In particular, each area will be planted with many beautiful flowers and this place is known as the land of flowers. From Ba Na Golden Bridge, visitors only move about 300m to get to Le Jardin D'Amou flower garden area, at 9 flower gardens, there will be 3 main flower gardens that are most popular with tourists. The first flower garden is called Uyen Uong garden, in the middle of the garden, there will be 2 angel statues incarnate, in ballet dance. Each season here will be planted with different flowers, in the garden today will be planted with evening primrose and coriander flowers. The special feature of the evening primrose flower is that it is easy to grow, the evening primrose must be planted in a place with a cool climate and in the afternoon this flower will give off a sweet fragrance around this place. Besides the love flower garden is the paradise garden, the garden here is planted with a flower called begonia flower and many other flowers. If standing from above, people can easily see the arrangement of bonsai artists here, there will be a peacock as a highlight for the garden of Eden. This is also the place for visitors to watch the most beautiful sunset of Ba Na mountain.
The last garden in Le Jardin D'Amou's flower garden is a mythical garden, this garden is not planted with many kinds of flowers like other flower gardens. This place is a place where couples love each other and many tourists love to take photos. It was inspired by the Greek gods on Mount Olympia, there are also many statues of angels, along with a chess set made of stone.
Standing at the trunk garden, visitors will easily see the Buddha statue of Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda and that is also the main place that I want to introduce to everyone today. This is one of the first temples built first at the top of Ba Na mountain, this temple belongs to the Bac Tong system. In Vietnam, there will be two sects: Bac Tong and Nam Tong. The Bac Tong sect was introduced to Vietnam from the Chinese colonial period of Vietnam and the Theravada sect was introduced in the early decades of the 20th century. From the flower garden, visitors will follow the directions of the map. and it is located behind the mythical garden, in front of the road to the temple is now a white building, going inside will have a small path to enter the main hall of the temple. The entrance to this temple is lined with statues of monks and nuns, who are on their way to get sutras from the eastern great hall. If you have seen the famous movie Journey to the West, produced by China, then surely people will not be surprised by this. After going inside, visitors will be very impressed with the statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, in the posture of meditation. This Buddha statue is located in the centre of the temple here, the direction of this statue is located to the east and that is also towards the centre of Da Nang city. With a height of more than 1000m, this can be the Buddha statue built at the highest height of Da Nang city. Below will be placed arhat statues, this is also a place with a great view for visitors to admire the city of Da Nang. At the temples of the Bac Tong sect, there will be a main hall inside the temple, the path leading to the main hall of the temple will be the steps leading to the main hall. The main hall of Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda is not too large, but this place is very quiet so that visitors can feel the peace of life. Currently, the temple here only allows visitors to visit the area outside the main hall, because of the epidemic situation, this temple does not allow visitors to enter the main hall. Before, when the epidemic did not occur, this place was visited by tourists and asked to stay overnight at this temple. I have also stayed one night at this temple, I can't express my feelings when staying one night here, but staying at this temple you will feel the peace of life. At night when Da Nang city lights up, you will be very excited to look down at Da Nang city from above. It's a pity I don't have a night shot here, but if I have a chance to stay here again I will share it with everyone.
After visiting Linh Ung pagoda, visitors will continue their journey to other tourist sites of Ba Na mountain peak, visitors will start going to the cable car area of Ba Na. This cable car station is called Bordeaux station, this cable car is not too long like the cable car going from the foot of the mountain to the Golden Bridge, it only takes 5 minutes to sit in the cabin, you will reach Ba Na entertainment area. On Ba Na entertainment area, there will be restaurants, amusement parks, Phap Co village and there is another temple under construction. At Bordeaux station, visitors can buy souvenirs, at Cham Tone shop. If buying souvenirs for friends and family, then you can consider buying them at the store here. Because the price here will be cheaper than Ba Na Hill entertainment area. If you love Vietnamese traditional ao dai, then this place will also have beautiful ao dai for you to choose from.
