Celebrate the return of Danang city tourism with the Hot Air Balloon Festival

Hello everyone!
It's Khoa again. Wishing everyone a new week with lots of joy and many advantages at work. In recent days, Da Nang city has begun to welcome the first international tourists visit Da Nang city. After more than two years of closing international commercial flights due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, on March 27, the first flight landed at Da Nang airport, bearing the number SQ172. Including more than 300 tourists from Singapore and Thailand. The Danang Department of Tourism has organized events to celebrate the return of international flights. The message for this comeback is "welcome back to the world". Previously, international travellers had to have test results and a vaccine passport. Because of these difficult barriers, during this time, international tourists who want to visit Vietnam only need to have PCR test results within 72 hours and do not have to undergo mandatory isolation as before. These are good signals for tourism in Vietnam and the whole world. To welcome the return of city tourism, the Danang Department of Tourism organized an outdoor event. This event was held at the APEC park, during the event was the performance of hot air balloons flying in the sky at APEC park.

I have not seen these images for over 2 years, looking at these images makes me feel very happy that the Covid nightmare has gradually disappeared and become a common disease. As a tour guide, during the past two years, my life has been very difficult and today is the moment that will mark the return of Vietnam tourism.

I have witnessed hot air balloon festivals in Hue city, but this is the first time I have seen hot air balloons in Da Nang city. Have you ever seen how hot air balloons can fly to the sky? I was quite lucky to get close enough to the balloon. Before the balloon goes up, the balloon technician will blow the air inside the balloon, there will be a person inside taking the balloons' strings, making the balloon more inflated. . After the balloon is inflated with a certain amount of gas, the gas platforms will be turned on, the fuel of the burner is made of propane gas, which is stored in liquid compressed form. When the technician ignites the fire, the flame heats the air inside the balloon. Then the balloon will begin to expand and begin to rise into the air. In this event, the hot air balloon will fly up to about 20 30m and keep it fixed for visitors to see.
