LOUVRE PARIS

Established more than 220 years ago, The Louvre Paris holds so many titles: The world's most visited museum, a Historic Landmark, and the home of the Mona Lisa. The iconic pyramid glass was built in 1988 as part of the Grand Louvre Project, which started in 1981. Located in the main courtyard of the Louvre Palace, Pyramide du Louvre (Louvre Pyramid) is a large glass and metal structure designed by American architect I. M. Pei and serve as the main entrance to the museum. The Louvre remains one of the most important cultural institutions in France. It is an essential stop for anyone interested in the history of art and culture. The museum has since been expanded and renovated several times, and today it houses over 35,000 works of art and objects from ancient civilizations to the 19th century. It is best known for its stunning collection of French and European paintings, including works by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Rembrandt. The museum also boasts a vast collection of sculptures, decorative arts, and ancient artifacts worldwide, including the famous "Venus de Milo" and the "Egyptian Sphinx."

I have visited Louvre Paris several times, and there are still many artworks that I haven't paid attention to closely. So much to see, so much to learn, and so much little moments to enjoy. It now makes sense what Paul Cezanne once said: " The Louvre is the book in which we learn to read." Enjoy!
