A day of knowledge and new experiences
The famous Alberto Maranhão Theater is synonymous with beauty, work, dedication and seriousness, a model to be followed by Brazil and the world. This century-old theater belongs to the state of Rio Grande do Norte and is located in its capital, Natal.
It was inaugurated in 1904, its physical structure has undergone 5 renovations to date, all of which were specifically focused on keeping up with the development of society and adapting the theater to the changes of each period in history. The renovations contributed to improved accessibility, revitalization, the addition of areas such as dressing rooms, a garden, an audience, a stage, air conditioning in the area and a restoration of its structure, all for the benefit of its visitors.
The building preserves traces of 19th-century French architecture, uses Belgian ceramics at its entrance and was listed by the National Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage, being a Brazilian material heritage.
My visit to the venue was quick, the service provided by the staff who work there is excellent, they are attentive and polite. The space is large, the beauty is a highlight in every place you can see, the programming is excellent and caters to both adults and young audiences.
It is a historical and magical place that can be used for various presentations, admission to visit is free, however, you have to pay if you want to watch a presentation. There is a schedule with the entire itinerary of the events. The venue holds up to 600 people and the prices are affordable.
One detail that I would like to highlight is the parking, it is very limited, however there are free spaces, the places with an uncovered area. There are people who charge to "watch" your vehicle, it is up to you to decide whether to trust them or not. That was the only part I didn't like.
The statue of the muse at the top of the theater is a mystery. I was confused about whether it was Talia (the muse of comedy) or Melpomene (the muse of tragedy). I was embarrassed to ask and the person in charge didn't know how to answer. I avoided embarrassment for both parties.
It's an imposing place that exudes positivity. A secular art that has surpassed the barriers of modernity.

Um dia de conhecimento e novas experiências
O famoso Teatro Alberto Maranhão é sinônimo de beleza, trabalho, dedicação e seriedade, um modelo a ser seguido pelo Brasil e pelo mundo. Este teatro centenário pertence ao estado do Rio Grande do Norte e está localizado em sua capital, Natal.
Foi inaugurado em 1904, sua estrutura física passou por 5 reformas até hoje, todas com foco específico em acompanhar o desenvolvimento da sociedade e adaptar o teatro às mudanças de cada período da história. As reformas contribuíram para a melhoria da acessibilidade, revitalização, adição de áreas como camarins, jardim, plateia, palco, climatização do ambiente e restauração de sua estrutura, tudo em benefício de seus visitantes.
O prédio preserva traços da arquitetura francesa do século XIX, utiliza cerâmica belga em sua entrada e foi tombado pelo Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional, sendo um patrimônio material brasileiro.
Minha visita ao local foi rápida, o atendimento dos funcionários que trabalham lá é excelente, são atenciosos e educados. O espaço é amplo, a beleza é um destaque em todos os lugares que você pode ver, a programação é excelente e atende tanto ao público adulto quanto ao jovem.
É um lugar histórico e mágico que pode ser usado para diversas apresentações, a entrada para visita é gratuita, porém, é preciso pagar se quiser assistir a uma apresentação. Há uma programação com todo o roteiro dos eventos. O local comporta até 600 pessoas e os preços são acessíveis.
Um detalhe que gostaria de destacar é o estacionamento, é bem limitado, porém há vagas gratuitas, os lugares com área descoberta. Tem gente que cobra para "vigiar" seu veículo, fica a seu critério confiar ou não. Essa foi a única parte que não gostei.
A estátua da musa no topo do teatro é um mistério. Fiquei confuso se era Talia (a musa da comédia) ou Melpomene (a musa da tragédia). Fiquei com vergonha de perguntar e o responsável não souber responder. Evitei constrangimento para ambas as partes.
É um lugar imponente que exala positividade. Uma arte secular que ultrapassou as barreiras da modernidade.
