My Visit to National Parliament Building

I have visited the Bangladesh National Parliament area several times. As the main complex of the Parliament building and associated buildings are located in a protected area and the area is always surrounded by security due to the movement of members of Parliament, there are certain rules and regulations for public access, and not many people can enter here at once. I was staying at my friend's house in Dhanmondi, from there it is very easy to go to Sangsad Bhavan by rickshaw or CNG. No matter where you live in Dhaka, you can get a vehicle to go to the National Parliament from everywhere.

An ordinary citizen has to take the permission of the Parliament Secretary to visit the National Parliament building. And the case of foreign nationals needs to provide photocopies of their passport and visa, fill a form, and pay a fee of 600 rupees to get entry permission. It was very difficult and time-consuming for me to get permission from the Parliament Secretary, and so I only managed to capture as much of the Parliament building as I could from the outside.

However, it would have been possible to take a picture of the main complex of the Parliament building if seen from another angle. I was able to see as much as I could without going here and there in tiring conditions. I was fascinated to see this one of the most amazing structures in Bangladesh and the whole world. This incomparably beautiful structure that captures the tradition and culture of Bangladesh is the pride of our country.
