Ninh Kieu Wharf is a place that anyone who goes to need poetry must definitely visit at least once. Ninh Kieu wharf goes from Ngo Quyen, Nguyen Thai Hoc, straight down, you can see Ninh Kieu wharf. Even though I've been in Can Tho for nearly 10 years, every time I come here, I have different feelings.
Usually, many tourists choose to visit the Ninh Kieu wharf by bicycle or electric car. These are the two best means of transportation to fully appreciate the beauty of this place. However, if you come here in the evening, you should choose the option of walking to comfortably check-in and enjoy street food.
Going down to Ninh Kieu wharf, I like to walk so I can see the activities, take pictures... see people often park their cars at the pier parking lot for 5,000vnd/car. But I usually park the car for free at Sense City and then walk down to Ninh Kieu wharf
In the early morning, the Ninh Kieu wharf gives people a poetic feeling, if you go around 5:00 am, you will see a lot of people near the pier going to the floating market, walking around will definitely be invited by the boat driver. Can you take the train to the floating market?" or a place for Can Tho people to exercise and watch the sunrise on the Hau River. During the day, the Ninh Kieu wharf is somewhat less crowded, making people feel comfortable, strangely peaceful, most of them are just locals doing business. On a sunny day, a few people go for a walk.
In Can Tho, there is a very beautiful Ninh Kieu wharf, very special at night! In stark contrast to the daytime, at night Ninh Kieu Wharf becomes more shimmering and fanciful. This is also my favourite time, a lot of people go down the street to go for a walk and enjoy very attractive street food. Therefore, if you are looking for the noise and excitement in Can Tho, then come to Ninh Kieu Wharf in the evening.
Ninh Kieu wharf night market is divided into 2 separate areas: food area and 2 shopping areas for clothes. Street food stalls with a variety of dishes such as dumplings; Grilled rice paper, mixed rice paper, fried fish balls, milk tea ... are displayed in front of the shop owner, looking very attractive. Every time I come down here, I usually take a walk around to see what's delicious, then buy chicken sticky rice, fried food, grilled rice paper, sugarcane juice or milk tea at Ninh Kieu wharf. Then invite each other to the stone bench to eat and talk. Night market clothes also have many beautiful designs, but I don't have a place to try on clothes, so I rarely buy, but go for a walk to see.
If you can afford it, you should also try to have dinner at the Ninh Kieu wharf restaurant in Can Tho. The cruise will take you to discover the beauty of the Hau River at night. Enjoy delicious, attractive and diverse dishes boldly in the Western homeland. Immerse yourself in the art space from musical performances such as Cai Luong, Don Ca Tai Tu, which are typical of the South... extremely unique.
Ong Pagoda - a small temple located at Ninh Kieu wharf, the temple has the temple architecture of the Chinese people. If you have the opportunity to come to Ninh Kieu wharf, don't miss the opportunity to visit Ong Pagoda, both to worship the sacred, and to listen to stories about the Chinese on the journey to Can Tho, also to once witnessed an artwork right on the famous Ninh Kieu side. The temple has beautiful architecture, so many people come to take wedding photos.
In Ninh Kieu wharf park, there is a monument of Ho Chi Minh, which is considered a prominent symbol when referring to Ninh Kieu Park. So, if you have a chance to come here, don't forget to check in at Uncle Ho Monument.
Ninh Kieu Wharf (Can Tho Love Bridge) connects Cai Khe Isle with Ninh Kieu Can Tho Wharf. This bridge has an S-shaped design of Vietnam, on both sides of the bridge there are two large lotuses and the entire bridge is built with an artistic LED lighting system. At the beginning of construction, the couple went to the bridge to hang the lock like the love bridge in Da Nang, but because of fear of affecting the bridge, it was demolished. At night, the bridge is lit up with eye-catching colours and looks very beautiful.
At the end of the year to the Lunar New Year, Ninh Kieu wharf is even more crowded, and the flower market is also sold here. Lots of people walking around. If you have time to stay in Can Tho in the evening, remember to stop by Ninh Kieu Can Tho Wharf to immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere here, especially from Ninh Kieu Park, you can see Can Tho Bridge shimmering in the skylight colour.
