108 Mile House
Welcome to the 108 Mile House Heritage Site located in British Columbia Canada.
Went on a nice vacation with my family and had a visit to this great heritage site.
It was very educational and the kids loved the visit. Many of the buildings on site going as far back as 1880.
It was really interesting to see how life was back in the early days.
The 108 mile house had everything that any small settlement would typically have like post office, school, blacksmith, bars, hotels, stores, and eating establishments.
A nice area with lakes and wildlife around. It was also on the gold rush trail which saw a lot of prospectors passing through.
There are eleven historical buildings on three hectares of land.
I really liked seeing the old fire trucks. :)
Just a short drive down highway 97 from 100 Mile House BC. And not too far from Williams Lake BC which offers more accommodations if staying in the area.
Hope you enjoyed the mini tour of the 108 Mile House Heritage Site. :)
