Its a long weekend here in the Philippines as we celebrate Ninoy Aquino Day today, and National Heroes Day on Monday. So i'd like to share this beautiful tourist spot in Cebu that you might want to visit to take advantage of the long weekend ahead.
Tops of Cebu is located in Busay, Cebu City. This tourist spot is known for its breathtaking view of the mountains where family and friends could chill and dine. It's actually newly renovated and was launched only this year.
It was a weekend when we decided to visit Tops so we already anticipated that hundreds or thousands of people to also flock in the area. But I wouldn't mind the crowd as the place still feels cozy.
How To Get There
In case you don't have a private vehicle for transportation, they also offer a transportation service for only P200.00 (3.5 USD), for both back and forth transportation and entrance fee. Just visit their social media page for more information.
For people bringing their own vehicle, there's a parking lot in the area but visitors have to pay P100.00 (2 USD) per person for the parking space and entrance fee.
Upon entering the vicinity, you will be greeted with different food stalls and restaurants, plus the mountain view. However, you may also opt to bring your own food for a budget friendly trip. No corkage fee was mandated for bring outside food and beverages. The last time i visited Tops with my colleagues, we ate at Thai restaurant (see:Thai cuisine blog). This time, I ate tried some Japanese food, which i will share in another blog.
The sunset at Tops is one of the best. During night time, sometimes its breezy while other times, its humid. Unfortunately, it was humid during my visit.
I hope to visit this place again. Next time, i'd like to go solo and ride their van.
That's it for today's blog. Till the next adventure!
Sending some love and light
Love, Jane
