About a month ago, I went to Kolkata with some close friends for a little stroll.
Our intention that day was to go to North Kolkata. Some close friends will be moving to different states of the country for higher studies, so before they leave, we decided to explore different places in Kolkata and see them together one last time.
On the day we made this plan, we were out of the house around noon. In the afternoon we all went out together and boarded the train from the nearest railway station, we first got off at Sealdah station. Getting down at Sealda station, we all decided together to go to North Kolkata where Sealda metro station is nearby and do some sightseeing.
This metro station has not been opened for a long time, it is a very new metro station. This metro station was inaugurated on 11th July 2022 and passenger services started from 14th July 2022.
That is, the journey of this metro station started a few months before the day we went here. All of us were interested in seeing the new metro station.
Moreover, before the inauguration, only we could see about this on TV and magazines. We saw the view of this metro station in the videos of many bloggers and it was very beautiful. Ever since watching their videos, everyone had a strong desire to go there someday soon. And that day we got this opportunity.
However, to fulfill everyone's wish, we walked down to Sealdah station and reached this metro station. It is located very close to Sealdah station. We were surprised when we approached. It is designed in a completely new and modern way. The metro stations we see abroad look very similar. I started photography in front of the metro station.
After some photography from the front we enter inside the metro station. Building this metro station with a large area. We see a huge open space. A friend of mine likes it so much he talks about getting on the new metro train. We also agreed with him then because Metrorail fares were very low in comparison.
A friend of mine went to buy tickets but since we are going to North Kolkata and this metro rail route is completely opposite, we did not board this metro rail car that day. However, my photography did not stop even after going inside. Take as much photography as possible. We all enjoyed going inside and seeing everything new.
Here, everything from fares to departure instructions was given on the front for the convenience of passengers. This metro rail station has been modernized keeping in mind all aspects of passenger convenience. However, as our intention was to go to the other side, we left after spending some time there.
