ROAD TO HIVEFEST // SECOND STOP DUBROVNIK - CROATIA (PART 2)

Hello Friends.

If you catched-up my last post ROAD TO HIVEFEST // SECOND STOP DUBROVNIK - CROATIA (PART 1), you will already know about our experience traveling with my man @knowhow92 at Dubrovnik, Croatia. I have already share with you my impression about the amazing architecture of the old town and all the outstanding structures that we saw. Started my last blog from the inside of those huge walls of old town, and now it's time to write about the beauty outside of them..and also at the top of them.

A famous attraction of Dubrovnik's old town is to walk on the top of the walls surrounding city and believe me is something you must do if you are there. I was really looking forward to it so we decided to do this during our second day at Dubrovnik in order to do it the right way. We woke up early in order to avoid the high temperatures of the day, and started our walls tour around 8 am. Although it was early, the place was quite busy, but not as crowded as it tends to be later in the day.

Thankfully the walking tour is only one way so you could enjoy your walk without flocking together with other people. The route was very pleasant, you could see everything around the walls. Yes, for sure, many stairs, long path but really beautiful. Also the path was so well maintained.

We enjoyed an amazing endless view of the Adriatic sea during our tour. We also saw many people renting kayaks or small boats in groups and sail around the walls of the old town.

The inside view was also very beautiful. You could see the old town from a high spot, all those amazing huge structures seems so small from there.

At some points you could see those huge wild rocks near the sea which was used as beach bars where you can drink a cold beer and swim. You can get access to them from the inside of the town, through some small stoned gates.

There is also small port inside the old town!

Countless small alleys!

A view of another central gate leading to the old town in which a Game Of Thrones scene was filmed.

The old town seems so big. I love the fact that is so uniform to colors and on the same aesthetic.

The other side of the walls that is connected to the main city.

Our tour lasted about 2 hours. We walked many km and but it was totally worth it. We spend the rest of our day strolling around the city, swimming at the amazing cold Adriatic sea, eating delicious food and drinks tasty cocktails.

As the night was falling we wandered outside the walls to admire the walls from a high point of view.

There is a beautiful bay next to the walls, seems like it is a scene from a fairytail. Actually at this bay there are also several scenes filmed for the the Gots. Next to the bay there is also the Fort Lovrijenac .

We followed the paths that leads up to the Fort Lovrijenac, at a high spot. The night view of old town was just amazing with the lights. We had a cold beer while enjoying this outstanding view. What a better way to close this days?

That's pretty much everything about our second day at Dubrovnik. Full day with many attractions and beautiful things to explore. Dubrovnik is 10/10!
