Location Of Barangay Biga:
This Barangay is one of the place located in Municipality of Lugait, Misamis Oriental. It is near at the Main road or National Road and contains a rocky road that served as a shortcut to all residents. There are few commercial buildings just like stores, eateries and even fabrication sites located here in Barangay Biga. From Barangay Poblacion Manticao, it needs to travel almost an hour before it reach the place. We can be abled to ride different kinds of passenger vehicles just like buses, tricycles, Jeeps, and even motorcycles.
Barangay Biga also consists of cliff areas where lots of great over views can be seen. Through the top of the cliff, the entire sea areas located at the place can be seen and even small boats floating the sea. A distant big ships floated to the deep blue sea can also be seen from here because of the high place at the cliff.
This is the rocky road and it is near at the Main Road here in the Province. Many people loves to pass by here going to Barangay Biga, it can be passable by different kinds of vehicles just like trucks, Cars, Jeeps and Tricycles. This place was excavated and turned into a Barangay A few years ago and below in this road is the coastal areas already, cliffs are very high and a big chunk of stones walls can also be seen and found.
Stone Walls and Cliffs:
Massive and big stones walls can also be seen here. It is composted of rocks and corals and many kinds of wild plants also grows in this big chunks of stones. This can be added in the beauty of the place by landscape views. Even if there are small amount of soil at the place, still lots of plants just like coconuts and banana plants grows and produced lots of Fruits.
Different Kinds of Big Trees:
There are also different kinds of Big trees that gives cooland shady areas. Most of the trees can be found here are Hard wood type trees just like Molave, Balete and Talisay Trees. It grows on the top of the rocky cliff near at the Barangay Road facing to the sea. Lots of wild animals like birds perching and making its nest on those branches.
The ordinance about throwing garbage anywhere is also done in here in fact, there are some warning signs about throwing the garbage. Through this ordinance, the place will keep clean always and have a good views of wild plants. It keeps the wild life and the Nature always healthy and clean.
Massive of coconut tress also grown near at the coastal areas. All of it are leaning towards the sea because of the strong winds always happened here. Despite of that, those trees keeps producing lots of fruits and ready for harvesting activities. This place is best spot for doing a camping activities in fact most of the people putting their tents on the plain place at the middle of this Massive coconut trees.
Parts of the Coastal Areas:
These are some of the Place located at the coastal areas of Barangay Biga. Most of the place contains lots of big stones, corals and some different kinds of stones. Lots of rock pools were trapped fish can be seen. Even if it is a rocky place, still there are lots of people really wants to visit here. This is very worth to all adventuristic people.
