A few days ago I went to Cumilla city to spend a good time. On that occasion, we decided to hang out at Cumilla railway station. Many people have heard that the railway station at night looks very beautiful. It is also very pleasant to talk while walking on the railway line. And if it's a winter night, even better. Popular winter dishes can also be eaten along with the chat.
Now the winter season in Bangladesh has started coming. The mood of winter can be felt right now. A slight chill in the night and fog in the morning tell that winter is not far away.
Keeping winter in mind, we put on light winter clothes and left for Comilla railway station. We are a team of five people including me. The distance from our place to Comilla railway station is about two kilometers. In that case, we started walking along the railway line. We all move forward between the steel and stone of the railway line. Sometimes it felt good to throw stones across the empty railway line.
After walking for about 20 minutes, our team reached the railway station. The railway station is no longer what it used to be, its surroundings have been recreated. A few high-rises have already been built. Looked pretty good!
Our first task on reaching the railway station was to eat winter foods. There is a shop next to it with several types of cakes. In between, we were busy eating vapapitha and chichi pitha (Flapjack). Chitui pitha with different types of ingredients increased the taste many folds. After eating pitha, it's time to eat jhal Muri (Turnover). I like to eat Jhal Muri with more solder.
After a spicy turnover, we were busy eating guava and chanachur. It felt good to eat these dishes in mild winter. All the dishes were very tasty. Especially the Chanachur mix was amazing.
After eating, we sat and chatted at the railway station for some time. Meanwhile, some trains pass Cumilla railway station. Every person in the station is busy with his work. Some are busy making a living, while others are rushing to reach their destination. But no one came here to stay. Everyone will leave in time. Our life is like this station; we have come to this world for a time, and have to go back to a certain destination with time.
Anyway, after spending some time at the station we went to Cumilla town for dinner. We all ate Tehri there and returned home at 11 pm. Ended a memorable night.
