London, UK: nice markets & parks in the city!

Hello people!

One last walk through the impressive city of London. We have visited well-known iconic places, there are many things to see, many, so we have to go quickly and we will still have to go back to see more things... but let's relax too, although unfortunately for a very short time. We leave soon the city!

While it is interesting to observe the life of the local people, or visit popular markets, which also become other remarkable points for those who want to know more about the city, and then simply relax walking through one of its most emblematic parks.

We start briefly with the markets, two of the most famous are the one in Covent Garden, inside a built structure, but open, and the one in Camden Town, also in a specific area, but surrounded by other colorful businesses in the nearby streets and also by canals. Finally, we will say goodbye surrounded by nature in the center of the city, in a park, we will go to Hyde Park, let's go.

Convent Garden and more

We arrived by tube at Covent Garden, a vibrant and very pleasant place where we could eat and drink something, see shops and above all enjoy the good atmosphere of the people and some fun street performances.

But we also visited other streets and shopping places nearby, well, don't forget that some time ago I shared a post about London at Christmas time, where we also walked through many shopping streets on those days with even more people.

And since we now have little time, we quickly go to the other famous market that everyone wants to visit...

Camden Town

You can feel the crowds passing by, the energy and the colour as soon as you arrive, because the nearby streets are full of shops with colourful facades that give it that special and recognisable touch.

The streets are packed, everyone is heading to that place full of curious, alternative shops and food stalls. You just have to pass that area of water channels with boats, also very surprising and cool. Afterwards we focus on visiting some of those shops without any more... and we look at the clock, we leave.

Hyde Park

And the last stop on this wonderful journey is in a large park, which welcomes us first with a very striking and impressive architectural element. A large monument, a sculpture with a pointed tower-shaped structure above it, profusely decorated with lots of gold and wonderful shapes.

Here too we continue to enjoy unexpected surprises, but now we enter the park to get some fresh air, to feel in contact with nature, with large trees, lakes and to see the funny animals that live there.

A very pleasant ecosystem shared by everyone, by people who want to enjoy a moment of tranquility, but also by ducks, by many playful ducks accustomed to all those people who sometimes give them something to eat while they play with children and let themselves be photographed without running away.

Ducks swim around in a relaxed manner, while other birds peck at the grass, there are also many pigeons and some crows or similar birds... Afterwards, walking along paths while we contemplate the lake, we discover beautiful swans, more ducks, other birds and pretty flowers among the vegetation and leafy trees that surround the pond. Lovely place, isn't it?

On the water, some people take some time sailing in a small boat, it's fun, if you know how to handle the oars. And if not, we can always stroll around thinking about everything we have seen, thinking about when we can return to the spectacular and wonderful city of London.

Bye London, see you!
